VOILA!
Thanks for the added drinks.
I have added the new ones and now sorted each individual drink group alphabetically so you can find the drinks more easily: no more searching up and down within group for drink.
New and improved list attached
how do you order, will the bar tenders know these drinks by there name?
PS thanks for the list!

When i signed up for the suite on the sky it says we all get the unlimited dining package. I just checked today and it says the three minors are now on the childrens dining package. My sons ages 12 and 11 were looking forward to getting steak and not having to get kids meals. What age is the cut off ? Can i argue that they changed my terms and thats not what i signed up for.

Thanks guys i would give one to my kids when thry are at the pool or arcade if i needed to reach them, not just to "talk" only when i need them. Ill search

I want to use them to stay in contact with my party on the ship if we get separated or do different things. Has anyone had any luck with a particular brand, do they go thru the ship ok?
Or use the i concierge app just as reliable?

So if they are not charging you the 18% tipping, we should probably plan on tipping ourselves for the drinks??
no it is already included (tip) in the per day fee they charge for the unlimited beverage plan, there is no out of pocket.

Taxi from MIA airport hotels to POM is about $30
Taxi from MIA to downtown hotels is about $25+; taxi from downtown hotels to POM is about $12+
I would not let a "free" shuttle be the deciding factor in my hotel choice. ;)
Unless you are arriving late and just want a bed for the night I would avoid the airport area hotels.
thanks for the imput guys, i think we settled on staying at a hotel that overlooks the bay next to the port.

Is there any miami area hotels that offer a free shuttle service to the port?
Thanks in advance

I like freestyle dining and NCL is budget friendly. Both of my trips on Carnival haven't been as fun. I would like to do Princess next but they seem to be out of my price range.
NCL for all its guff about being a young 20 something cruise line, i have never had a bad experience with other passengers. We stay to our self and they younger passengers generally behave and stick to themselves.

great review thank you, i look forward to my cruise in February on the Sky.

Ok just in case anyone else runs in to this. UBP is no longer listed on E-Docs as stated in the above response the SKY is now considered UBP for everyone on board in 2016. This is per Expedia and NCL representatives.

I booked a suite in March 2015 for a sailing Feb 2016, on of the amenity's i received was the UPB. When i check my reservations on NCL my unlimited dining package is showing, my prepaid suite charges, and my $100PP on board credit are all showing but the unlimited drink package is not on my E-documents is that something i need to worry about or does everyone that sails in 2016 get the UBP so it doesn't need to be on the E-Docs
Thanks in advance
Ron

I have a group of 10 and i want to pre arrange the shuttle from the airport to the port. What are some good companies reasonably priced that can take us all?

I am taking my kids on my next cruise. Im interested in taking them to the water park at Atlantis. $177 per adult and $114 per kid seems awfully steep for the water park. Can anyone tell me what gate admission is for the water park? I am thinking it will be cheaper for me to taxi to atlantis and pay at the gate?
-
Yes, they cover the DSC for the first 2 people in the cabin. It does not cover your tips for your butler and concierge though.
Enjoy the cruise, the level of service you get on the Sky in a suite is really great. There aren't very many suites, so they really make sure you're well taken care of.
Very cool, do you know what the tipping per day for them is suggested at?

When i booked my cruise in March 2015 for a cruise on the Sky in Feb Feb 2016. I received the standard UBP, Free specialty dining, 100 PP on-board credit, and Prepaid Service Charges for Haven and Suites.
I dont see that last one talked about much, has anyone else had experience with the prepaid service charges (tips)?
Thanks!

If he is in the same cabin you can both go to the Quick service line. If he is in his own cabin he will have to wait in the regular line.

We are a young family and I feel they are chasing us away. I fear though, my NCL days will be over following my upcoming trip.
I feel the same way, i am 42 and have young kids. I am taking them on the Sky in February for there first trip and my first suite experience. I am apprehensive about how things will be with the changes.

how many days in advance can you make your reservations?

The figures might not be totally accurate but the incident is!!
I was in the Atrium waiting to see the Latitudes Rep and was a little early. I could see that a person waiting at Guest Services was holding his bill and getting agitated.
When he got to the desk it was all bluster about the size of his bill and that he hadn't spent "that much". He was demanding to see "someone in authority" so the desk clerk took his name and suitestateroom number and went 'backstage'.
About 5 minutes later the manager came out and before the guest could say anything said "I agree that you didn't spend $4500 while on the cruise, sir, you only spent $900"; the reply was "Great, then my account will be reduced?!!"
"I'm afraid not, sir, the other $3600 was spent by your wife, son and daughter". "BUT .......... (unrepeatable in pleasant company)". "Here, sir, is the authority you signed when handing over your credit card as you boarded the cruise liner; I suggest you take up the extra spending with your family!!"
With that the guest walked off with a very red face, "muttering" profanities at the top of his voice.
Oh to have been a fly on the wall in that stateroom!! :D
Mike
Thanks Mike that was super funny i can only imagine, i can see how especially for kids it is so easy to just swipe and loose track. Im sure my wife forgets "accidentally" on occasion also lol.
