  1. I want to book a 2021 Azamara cruise  while I’m on a Celebrity cruise in December, but all Azamara offers are only for 2019 & 2020 cruises. Should I wait until next year when I will be on another Celebrity cruise to book an Azamara 2021 cruise? Or when offers for 2021 appear on Azamara website, book directly with Azamara?

  2. Have any of you ever opted in for the pre or post cruise City Stay option offered by Azamara? I know the more seasoned travelers will book their own hotel and sightseeing. Is this option worth the price based on what they are offering? I'm  looking at a Rome to Venice cruise.

    Thanks.

  3. Just off Eclipse a week ago. We went to a cooking demonstration and the chef announced that in the near future Bistro on 5 will change to a combination sushi/deli menu. Surf and turf in one place. Also, the menu in Blu will be changing later this year. They are now testing that new menu at their Florida offices. After that, they will start to work on changing the menu in the MDR, which they said is a few years old now.

  4. I want to follow up on this. Is the charge for each specialty restaurant just for the gratuity for the staff or does it also cover an "entrance" fee (the privilege of eating in one or for the ambience?) Cause if I pay $90 for two of us to eat in one, that's like almost 25% tip on a $400 meal. Is this meal worth $400. (I know there are discount packages).

  5. I agree with WEGL81. Europe is totally different than a Caribbean port. Safety is my primary concern in the Caribbean. My other concerns: are the cruise lines paying more in port charges to stay longer and will these costs be passed on to us; it will certainly save the cruise lines on fuel since they won't be going in circles to reach the next port only a few hours away; as I understand it, the AC isn't as effective while we're idle in port and is more efficient when we're moving, sometimes the cabins are too warm for my tastes while in port; I love watching the ports as we sail away (nighttime won't allow this as well); how late are we departing each port (times aren't listed yet) as my wife falls asleep better as the ship is moving. These are my initial thoughts. Waiting to read more from my fellow cruisers.
