Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I was describing the class I belong to. You all assumed I believed I belonged to a 'higher' class. You were wrong. You just need to chill and not jump to conclusions. Any way might bump into you at the next silent disco if I can manoeuvre my zimmer frame onto the dance floor🀣
  2. I felt our first cruise on Celebrity was a decent step up from TUI, MSC & P&O and qualified as a premium brand. The staff to passenger ratio still helps here. People complaining about Celebrity MDR food should try a MSC cruise out of Dubai 😞 (MSC had cornered the market in chip (french fries) off cuts. We never had a chip longer than 2 inches!!!)
  3. .....and I repeat My last cruise was my first time in a Celebrity suite as we got a great price. I know my level.....and it's in cattle class with a proper balcony, not one of those opening windows on Apex class πŸ˜‰ (PS it's just a figure of speech, Cockney parlance if you will, forgive me) (PPS Don't go on Twitter if you think this forum is nasty! This forum is like a walled flower garden in comparison πŸ˜‚)
  4. lol You're easily triggered!! My last cruise was my first time in a Celebrity suite as we got a great price. I know my level.....and it's in cattle class with a proper balcony, not one of those opening windows on Apex class πŸ˜‰ (PS it's just a figure of speech, Cockney parlance if you will, forgive me)
  5. I will be gutted if there is no rack of lamb, no prime rib, no beef wellington and no cheesecake on my next cruise! (PS from what I'm reading I'm preparing to be gutted πŸ˜‰)
  6. Shame, I asked as we could not get any on our last cruise in February and that was in Luminae! We're back in cattle class this cruise so no chance then 🀣
  7. Unfortunately we are not new to cruising and having cruised Thompson (TUI), MSC, P&O, Azamara & Celebrity, we found Celebrity was our best fit. Part of that was down to the great food & service in the evenings in the main dining rooms. Cutting back on quality cuts of meat & fish, number of options, up charges and dessert wines just cheapens the brand in my opinion and will make us rethink in the future. I'm just hoping that these are the only cut backs we really notice. We will have a great cruise. We always do. I just thought Celebrity were a cut above and left the nickel and diming to other lines.
  8. Stop trolling me with your nonsense πŸ˜‰
  9. Please help me! I'm on the Infinity in 3 weeks time. I've read about all the cut backs. Do I have any improvements in service, food & beverage and/or entertainment to look forward to? The thought of school dinners mashed potato with dinner every night is already causing me lost sleep. I need some positivity! (PS can you still get a desert wine, Sauternes or Tokaji, as part of the premium drinks package?)
