I wonder who of those that acknowledge that the cruise line is not paying the staff fair would support them to go on strike.

The whole topic gets so heated because everyone knows that we profit from working conditions that are barely acceptable. Some compensate it through being generous others through blaming the cruise line. But in the end everyone of us is accepting the reality because we want to have a nice vacation and are a bit selfish.

As I do not see any advantage of an ocean view, got one once because of an upgrade, for me it would be balcony or inside. Balcony with solo supplement is above my limit so I stick with the inside and try to do two cruises a year instead.

It all depends on the budget.

If the suggestions were enforced rules I would have not booked a cruise with them and I guess they know it as well. Lets be honest, when all cruise lines add more and more ships and increase the overall available beds they just can not afford to upset any large group. So they will tell both of the extremes what they want to hear.

A few years ago I would never have dared to cruise on RC or a line that cares to have a dress suggestion but now I feel confident enough to be sure to have a great time even though I don't even own a suit or a tie.

But Viviany is not a people's person, and I honestly have no idea why she is on the entertainment staff. We watched her on the entertainment staff throughout the cruise and observed that she is really bad at getting people up and involved. She just stands there and doesn't engage people. Honestly, I think her only asset is shaking her booty on stage.

I am bad at remembering names but she sounds like the solo coordinator on my last Epic cruise.

As they are doing it for a long time already I expected them to have better ideas how to add value to the solo meetings.

The biggest difference is that they now use the same wifi for the internet and iconcierge and not a seperated any more. Anyway I could successfully pair it with the TV but none of the features was working on my android phone.

Last time I was on the Epic it was shown on the public ship tour as a "hidden secret". But it was mentioned that it is not guaranteed opened for all but can be closed when needed for example see days. They said the change was made because it was sparsely used before. Guess if there is really a demand now they will be happy to change it back to the old system.

There was a time when NCL had a notice in the Freestyle Daily, but unless it's extremely tiny, they may have had a policy change. I've asked fellow cruisers who kept their FSD and they don't see any such notice.

I have never read anything about decorating doors in the FSD or any other information sheet I get on board. And I normally read everything they give to me thoroughly.

I first thought booking an IX guarantee cabin but then switched to a studio although slightly more expensive.

Curious to see how the living room has developed, pictures look promising.
