  1. Casual: The one that left an impression was the Wipe Out Café-assuming they are serving Pretzel Dogs. OMG. My first stop if I ever return.

For traditional: Chops was pretty darn good. Did that one on one of the formal nights. That Red Velvet Cake was Awesome. Not sure they serve that anymore.

    WJ?---um, No

  2. Had your wrote that, I would have understood that.

But you pointed out that a path was being blocked by people taking pictures with selfie sticks, and I was pointing out that the delay would have happened before, since people take pictures.

I'm not talking about the handful of people that walk around with stick extended as you seem to have problems with. But the tendency of people to take pictures when the opportunity arises. So in MANY instances, people would be delayed- has happened to me for as long as I can remember. Before selfies happened, and before selfie sticks.

    Geez, such anger.

I saw where people were pulling them out while on rides at Disney Talk about dangerous.

  3. Get ready to fall in love. JS's are great, that is only category we get. Expect a cabin more like a hotel room (in size). Nice walk in closet. Bigger bathroom with a tub. Couch and 1 or 2 chairs. Coffee pot and/or tea maker. More room. Priority check in. And double points. Hope you enjoy it and the cruise.

Same here. Never been in any other class of room and love it.

  4. They told me they were in the peak booking season, so they are a little slower to respond. I would allow 24 hours. Plus remember the time difference depending on where you are.

The full day tour including Monserrat was actually full but they had a cancellation so I got the last 2 spots for that day. 4 ships in port on a Sat. doing shore excursions didn't help either.

I use this link to see how busy the ports are.

  5. Yes, if you log-in to your account from different computers or if you don't log-out properly this can happen. Usually clears it self up but not sure how long it take.

The warning I've seen is 'your reservation is currently being modified' or something to that effect. Not sure if this is the same thing you are referring to.

  6. You never know if these will be a good deal but ours was. Depends on when you book.

We booked Allure Med last June (2014) during the first BOGOHO sale and got a JS for 2 for $4016.

During the Jan. 2015 BOGOHO the same room was $5,202.

  7. Solarium.

Unlike some other ships, I've always found a spot there. Maybe not the same spot, as they are not reserved, but enough options between sun and shade.

There are some prime spots I suppose, but no guarantee you will always get those unless you are a member of the chair hog society.

  8. If you're prone to dizziness don't stare at the water close to the ship while under full power for a long time. You won't notice it while on the ship, but when you get home, your head will be spinning for days.

We do take a small pair of binoculars, depending on the cruise. You can always see ships in the distance and it fun to try to find out what kind they are.

Be aware of balconies near you, even above you. You may see things you don't want to see.

  9. I feel your pain, this is my biggest worry for any trip with heavy outdoor activities.

Too far away to worry about the rain, especially if you can't cancel the trip.

Like some have said, that regions see's rain (liquid sunshine) rather regularly.

Get the captain to steer towards the sun.

    They try to anyway.
