Our last one was mailed to us and arrived shortly after we got home. Saved carting it home in our luggage.
Yes, you have that option but need to let loyalty know. We have plenty of room in our luggage so we let it come to the room this time.

Is that for diamond plus?
You get one when you hit 140 points then one every 70 points after. You get whatever ship you are on at the time on the exact day you hit the points.

Cruise director confirmed no Mama Mia even in the reduced capacity version for this sailing. No loss since we had no interest, but I know a lot look forward to that.
I am surprised the abreviated version is still showing on the royal app. Wish they would update so we can change our dinner reservations.

I am just wondering if they have announced any Covid cases on board in recent days?
Not announcing anything.

Our March 5 also has that Day 2 glitch with the menu's.
Everything will change as you get closer. It's just a standard they upload ahead of time.

Thanks! I was kind of amazed that the app shows me ANYTHING until I’m actually cruising!!
If yours is like ours was, chances are it shows last week's football games too.

What is your cruise date? I was showing weird things also. I now am skeptical of the dinner menus that are shown.
Was same for us until we boarded last Saturday then they were perfect.

On Orient bay- have any of the beach bars rebuilt yet ? Any food establishments opened?
Only one bar/restaurant has been built. Did not see much in the way of construction going on at all.

That is actually rather nice. One can have some peace and tranquility, if that is what they are in the mood for, without retreating to their cabin. Then if they want more action simply take a walk to the appropriate venue.
Exactly!

Thanks for sharing. We’ll be on the Allure end of march. I must say the ship looks kinda eerie and lonely without the crowd but also nice at the same time. I actually enjoy company. Seeing other people having fun on the ship also makes me happy. I’d say ~50% passenger capacity is the sweet spot.
Being at around 42% it pretty much depends on where you are on the ship. Some places jumping others sparse.

Hello all. Sorry this is so long. My travel agent suggested signing into this forum for real-time and gathering of information. We are set to do 2 cruises in the next 4 months. While we are not new to cruising, I do have new concerns about seasickness and balance.
Since we last cruised, I have had an ongoing problem with BPPV, a type of vertigo that seems to be age related and fairly common. I have been having more frequent bouts with it lately. It’s caused by loosening crystals in the inner ear and brings on nausea, dizziness and loss of balance.
We’ve been on 6 cruises, all were Caribbean. I never got sick until the last one, about 6 years ago, which after is when the BPPV became an ongoing problem. I didn’t know what was going on since I had never been sick before, but then I realized, OH, so this is what seasick feels like! The seas were very calm, but it was awful the last 2 days, and bad enough that we haven’t cruised since. We LOVED cruising and my doctor can’t say definitively that motion will bring on a bout, but I’m really having a lot of anxiety about it. I did not use any medications back then because I didn’t know what BPPV was and had never gotten seasick or needed meds prior.
When I have a bout at home, I visit my doctor and she performs a repositioning of the head that moves the ear crystal called an Epley Maneuver. It usually takes a day afterwards to do the trick and feel fully back to normal.
My doctor has not discouraged me from cruising again and said there is a new medication patch I can use for nausea. I can do the maneuver on my own now, but my fear is will the constant motion be a problem? There’s no way to know until I try, and I’m in my 50s so not willing to give up on cruising yet. My husband loves cruising, too, so I’m willing to take a chance.
Does anyone else have this type of Vertigo? Have you had an issue with ship motion bringing it on, and what do you do treatment wise while onboard if it becomes a problem? Thanks for reading this long post. I appreciate any feedback/suggestions from others who cruise with vertigo.
I have somewhat of the same issue but only when I am looking out over the horizon. Fortunately it hasn't affected me to the point of getting nausea.

what time is it and boy never saw it this empty. Any nudes around😁
There were only about 20 on our excursion. In the past, would have been 2+ bus loads.
We stay away from that side of the beach. One lady who walked down said they are all in their 70's plus.

It appears you are a day early to St Maarten due to on-board scheduling changes. How does that work for those that have excursions paid/planned in advance - both private at thru RC?
They automatically moved the excursion to today if it was going to run. Appears most if not all did.
Other islands they refunded.

Wow. You’d think with all the restrictions they have in place they could find SOMEONE who could turn the game off IF they decided to put on the 10:00 show! Thinking they would want to make those who were willing to cruise with them during Covid extra happy, but…
Its on the aqua theater screens now.

If it's wall to wall people in there best to stay out of there or you may end up on deck 3.
Showing it now in the Aqua Theater since aqua show was cancelled at the last minute.

Are all Royal ships (that are scheduled) for Coco Cay stopping there? Passengers are allowed on the island?

Lol yep I made mine too tight and I can't take the damn thing off at night. I don't have scissors to cut off the excess either.
Guest services cut mine off then gave me new one then cut off the excess after I got to the looseness for me.

I'm not sure but maybe someone else will chime in. With the dining package, we have zero intention of stepping foot in the Windjammer
I feel safer in WJ than MDR. Spaced much better, no more traffic and at worst you are sitting somewhat close to parties that will only be there for a short time. In MDR you could be 18" next to someone for an hour.

Even has towel clips, like a pro!
Question - is the green band on your right wrist something needed for the ship?
Passengers who are traveling with no unvaccinated guests get the wristband and must be worn at all times so you can enter vaccinated only areas. Word of advice, do not tighten it too far so you can slip it off when showering or sleeping.

Can't blame ya.
Looking at the Anthem thread, there was a notation in the Cruise Compass that reservations were required (RR).
Looking in the Royal app, it just shows WJ is open for breakfast and lunch but that is likely not updated for next week.
WJ is open for dinner.

It appears our balcony door is locked. We are on the wind side. Does anyone know if they have electronic locks on balcony doors that can be controlled in cases like this?
