Here is a picture of my cell phone holder?  Could this be used to keep me

Could the turquoise cell phone holder, pictured below, be used to angle the phone correctly so the proctor can see what he or she needs to see?

    I don't have an easel.

This may not work since you need to have your camera facing downward from a higher level to catch both you and your test at the same time.  I purchased an arm that connects to my desk and grips my phone.

Once we get thru this next week of holiday sailings (new year eve cruises) the sailings should be back down to 50 or 60% capacity.    At least I am hoping that for my Jan 9th sailing.

I do not see a shut down happening unless something severe happens.

Yes, there are islands turning ships away but there are others still allowing ships.

If they are able to continue rotating positive crew with the other 2 "ghost ships" that should help stop the spread among the crew and lower the number of cases onboard so ships can dock at various islands.

Hang in there we will all get thru this.

Love the positive attitude. We are hoping the best for our sailing next week.

Why would you like an overnight there?  It's a nice port during the daylight hours, granted, don't get me wrong. Aside from shops just off the pier within the terminal complex and a couple of outdoor bars I don't think the water taxi will be running into the night to go over to the few places that are barely surviving 10 minutes away.

A second day to enjoy the island would be better than an extra day at sea. Been there a number of times and know what we enjoy.  Would be on the ship in the evening.

As someone who wakes up too early(usually before 5), and a coffee snob- I must warn you, 75% of the time the super early morning coffee is not fresh, in my experience.  I use cream, and that helps 🙂

I do agree.  I always just hope to hit the right place at the right time.   All of the many cruises we have done on Royal have all been on the Voyager or smaller classes so it was pretty easy to find the fresh coffee in the morning.  On Allure it may be harder with all the venues.

The coffee in the suite lounge is good, it might be a little strong for some but a water take carry of that. I believe it is 24/7.

We usually book a Grand Suite but decided on a junior suite for this cruise. Am I correct that the junior suites do not have access to the suite lounge? I like my coffee stronger.

That will work perfectly. Holds phone tight and can face it from above so the proctor can see both you and the test at the same time. You also need to show your ID to the proctor so allows you to hold it up to the phone for their viewing.

  7. 95% is the requirement by CDC to not have had to do the test sailings before a ship was put back into service.  Since Royal tends to families, they knew their percentage would fall far below that due to those 11 and under.  The final percentage depends of course on how many unvaccinated kids are sailing and the holiday sailings I am sure have a considerable amount of kids compared to non-holiday/vacation periods throughout the year.  I gather the exact percentages will never be disclosed.
