My guess is the change would have been made to reduce any corporate fee paid to the app publisher. My personal view is that it seems ok at the moment.

I do not really mind who is at fault, I'm more concerned that it's the customers who are losing out. That accountability sits with azamara.Ruefully I remembered your post the past 2 weeks as I have been dealing with a supplier (Dell Computers) for an order in which I spelled out very clearly the parameters for delivery, parameters to which they agreed and that they later confirmed.You can guess what happened and the ensuing chaos of phone calls and emails.
So I certainly have no idea who is at fault in the issue of the lounger cushions.

I very much hope you're right. I'm only responding to the live commentary. My only personal experience is from a couple of years back where I found the waiters had a habit of staring straight in front rather than catching your eye. I'm hopeful it won't be like that when I'm on board in a couple of months. Here's hoping.

You shouldn't need to do it but my strategy when they cannot deliver the wine at the same time as the meal is to go in to the reastaurant with a glass of wine from the bar as it is very annoying when the meal arrives before the wine. Thank for the posts really helpful for our upcoming voyage. It's also a shame about the included vs non included drinks.

I always think it's useful to read reviews both positive and negative and yes some things may have been raised previously but that does not mean they are any less relevant. I think the review raises useful points that l read with interest and as such is very useful for people considering wether or not to try the Azamara brand.

If, for example outside rooms have sold out cruise lines will still offer them but at inflated prices reflecting that they will upgrade another passenger currently in an outside room to a veranda class room. The high price they have charged for the outside room reflects the lost revenue from selling the veranda room. Just economics and fluid pricing.

When I had my first Azamara cruise about 3 years ago I joined the LCV programme and got my membership number and then applied for the upgrade though the link that GMC has helpfully provided. I guess I was fortunate as it was a popular cruise, but it worked for me. You find the application form and just email it off to Azamara and you should get the auto response below:

Specifically chose a suite with a bath do looks ideal so far. I get relegated to the shower in the gym. Showed picture to wife who was very happy with it. But we are all different.

Which I can see it will make ordering a drink an ordeal rather than a pleasure. You will at best have to ask for your drink but specify it's with the included spirits and even then hope it's not going to be refused. Most customers will not ask or will assume they have to upgrade to get the drink they want. Exactly what Azamara intended, in my opinion.

This does not bode well for the first night of a holiday. A discussion with the bar staff followed by a visit to reception (or) most people will either upgrade or settle for the stated included cocktails. Well done azamara you have got that right!!

Unfortunately we have the statement from azamara (the websites list of included drinks) and the practical first hand experience. I fear its only reticence to accept the inevitable that is keeping the thread going. But I hope I'm wrong.

On our first cruise we did get the upgrade. You can join lcv before your first cruise and then apply for the upgrade.

From memory it does have a military base close by which could have had something to do with it. The only thing good about it is that it does have an unexpectedly nice beach (but no facilities). But I agree not worthy of a second visit. In fact it's surprising that it's on so many itineraries.

It's good you made the maitre de aware of the issue. It is silly when they do that at any restaurant let alone one that is supposed fine dining.The new armless chairs are attractive and wide.
