What day is the yacht club party
-
Was this an eastern or western cruise? How were your excursions?
-
Thanks for the review

Are the menus that were posted for seaside yacht club STILL the SAME today? (The ones in this post are feom over a year ago) Can any recent cruisers chime in?

does Yacht Club restaurant have a kids menu? How were the servers with the kids?
Did you receive a bracelet to wear that you were able to charge things to and open your door?
Could you access the lounge from deck 18 by walking through the restaurant? or did you have to go down to 16 first than out to the lounge?

In my experience, that would be fine for kids their age. The goal is to look nice, which is what you have described.
Great thanks. And on elegant night they would of course wear dress clothes.
-
Do boys need to wear pants too? I usually dress my boys (7 and 11) in kahki shorts and brown loafers..usually with a polo.

Very helpful and thank you for the elevator tips. Was this eastern carib? Any advice on excursions?
How was breakfast and lunch in YC? Did your whole group get to dine together?
-
How was your statetoom 18021? Was there noise from the deck above?
How were the kids clubs?
For your table of 8..what dining times did they offer you to choose from?
Great review thanks!

We took a taxi in St. Thomas - $10 p/p each way - took a water taxi ($7 r/t) to Great Bay Beach in St. Maarten (would not advise that again - nightmare getting back - four ships docked). In Nassau, again five ships there - went to straw market - can walk and some shopping downtown.
How was great bay beach and how long was the drive there and back.
-
What did u do in st maarten and nassau.
We are planning to taxi to one of the numerous beaches for a few hours..imo there is enough time for a 3-4 hour beach day. Especially if u get off the ship before 9am.
Also was seaside the only ship in port in st maarten? The day we will be there the port schedule shows we are the only ship. Hoping that means little to no traffic and uncrowded beaches.

How far is Grand case from the port? Since we have such a short port time o want to make sure it's worth it.
-
I'm watching this thread ..9 of us are cruising in June. Does Alessandra serve big tables?
-
We have a pretty short port time for our MSC cruise in June, 7am-2pm. The port schedule shows our ship as the only ship in port that day (so I assume we won't have the traffic concerns I've read about). Which beach is best for a family with kids under 10yo to spend a few hours? Looking for clear water, restroom facilities and not rocky that's in good shape post Irma.

This will be interesting to follow. If the cruise ships still go Cuba may not let the ships dock like they did to one ship back in Feb. The cruise lines are going to have to make a tough decision thats for sure. I have a feeling they are going to change that stop. Imagine the logistical nightmare if only some passengers can disembark while half of the others can not.

This is great thank you so much. Can I expect a similar menu for our carribbean seaside cruise? (Minus the euro prices)
-
Does anyone have a menu ..or point me in the right direction ...of were I can find the premium wine list in yacht club. We booked Dec 2017 for our summer 2019 seaside cruise

I can only speak of the Delta terminal - when we arrived the place was a mob scene. Not enough room for everyone. On way back there was this huge line of people outside waiting to check bags. Inside was packed too. Then back to gate areas and packed, limited restaurant selection. Gate agents thoroughly confused.
Sounds like you just experienced a bad day there. We fly fll and also mia often and while it's not the most up-to-date, 3rd world is an extreme exaggeration lol.

Don't worry OP, call and have it added. Our travel agency company had me email proof to pass on to msc and they took the discount off. They did say it had to be before pay in full. But if you already paid in full you might be able to convince them in some obc.

We plan on checking out the fort for an hour before it closes at 6pm than walk around town for an hour and grab dinner around sunset at 7pm. Think positively and enjoy your time there.

Funny enough, one evening we were having dinner at YC restaurant and I can’t even remember what was our conversation about with our waiter, but it was something about late night activities. And he just said, oh, after you put kids to bed you can do this and that. I didn’t say anything but there is no way we would leave kids by themselves, definitely not at 6 and 8. I guess ones they are older that can be an option but I ll have to get my head around it :)))
Exactly ...i wouldn't leave the kids unattended in the room either.

Does the kids club have any after hour pricing? I saw on another thread that there are comedy shows at 1045 or 11pm and it looks like the kids club closes at 11?

Can you tell me more about the kids club? What time does it open? How late is it open? Do the kids need to be signed in and out by parents? How do you sign up for them to take your kids to lunch or dinner? Is it just on port days? Were there any special days? Any parades? I read you can have your butler take them and drop them off, did you use them? We have been on NCL with kids and they loved the kids club, but there isn’t as much information about MSC clubs. Thanks for any responses.
I'll second this! Any info you could give would be helpful. Also do they have after hour prices?
Seaside Yacht Club Restaurant Hours
in MSC Cruises

I was looking at some of the dailies from a few months back and I'm not seeing the yacht club restaurant hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are sailing eastern carib.
Also, how long do they serve lunch on embarkation day. May have to head to the port later than planned.
