Hearing all the commotion on social media about Carnival Magic staterooms ac not working correctly, I’d like to bring a fan just in case. We’re driving and I’d like to know if

1. I should carry on the fan and not put unchecked baggage

2. A picture please of what is allowed

My wife is a wine drinker and we'll be carrying on wine as well. How is that handled as far as using and bringing your own wine to dinner?

If you bring your own wine onboard bring it to the dining room IN A GLASS. DO NOT bring the bottle as they will charge you a corkage fee!! You can ask room steward for wine glasses, or any of the bars too.

As someone else posted there is always food available 24/7. However not necessarily breakfast foods, but foods that go with different meal timeframes.

One MAJOR rule of thumb....ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS stay on ships time. If you use a cell phone for telling time remember it will reset to the time zone you are in.

I love a balcony! However we had an aft extended balcony deck 8 on Carnival Valor. Whereas soot was not a problem, heat was. There was no breeze and very little shade. Also upper decks can look down on about 2/3rds of your balcony, so not much privacy.

I too am following..

Our son and family are disembarking now. They said the escalators are down inside the terminal, making disembarking delayed. They are finally in line at customs at 10:15 doing self assist.

Thought I’d give a heads up in case of any embarkation delays.

I just checked and it doesn't show any staterooms available for Premium Vista Balcony (aft wrap) on deck 7. Only on deck 8 (1 available) and 6 (2 available). However when in doubt get it checked out! Hoping it was a glitch and all is ok!

So I've never been in a spa cabin but was lucky to snatch one up on our cruise this Sept. I've heard the beach towels are yellow. Are the yellow towels used a board the ship only or do we take these a shore on port days? I guess if not the yellow on port days the room steward will leave blue. Thanks!

The way my PVP explained it to me...once you book early saver you are considered early saver even if you switch to resident rate, then military, then VIFP offer. If you originally book early saver you can switch up to 48 hours before your cruise. However you must abide by the current booking conditions in the new category. If you book ES with $50 OBC and upgrade to the balcony that offers a $50 OBC you'll not lose your OBC If you upgrade and no OBC is offered you will lose your OBC So you just have to decide if the extra cost to upgrade is worth it. Now lets say your cruise is paid in full....let's say you have $200 OBC but it's $300 to upgrade...you lose the OBC and owe $100. It there's a great sale and the upgrade is $50 less you'll get a $50 OBC.

So there's no free room service from10pm-6am??

So...not a gold but a platinum question. On our next 7 day cruise we will turn platinum on the 7th day. Are we platinum the entire cruise? Thanks!

Got a great upgrade to a spa inside cabin on Carnival Magic!! What amenities are included besides the use of the pool etc? I've heard they upgrade the toiletries. Does this include shampoo AND conditioner? What do you think of the products? Are they good quality or will they dry out my hair and skin. Thanks all!
