We'll opt out for the Go Green program. We like it just the way it has been pre covid cruises. We never supported the save the waves program either. We don't consider the twice daily stateroom service silly. Personal preference.
I am with you, I need a shower to wake me in the morning and before dinner at night, hate using damp towels!

You need to have booked your 2 day test before you arrive back in Uk. Not sure if Celebrity will pay for that one.

Was expecting 10 points this month, got12 which took us to Elite.

Got it for our October cruise. Hopefully by then we won’t have to wear masks inside when on board. I don’t mind wearing a mask generally, and have continued to do so. But when I am dressed up for the evening I want to wear lipstick and a mask plays havoc with it!
Can I ask which October cruise as I have not seen anything yet for ours?

I know this comment doesn't help those of you who were in trials, wanting to cruise, but....
I just want to say thank you to anybody who volunteered for a vaccine trial.
You play a large part in vaccination success, which allows others to get vaccinated, and travel.
Too bad there isn't a sailing only for people who were in trials!
Totally agree, these people alongside health workers put their lives on the line for the benefit of the rest of us. governments should be making sure they are not disadvantaged.

Any idea why Silhouette is late in leaving Greenock tonight? Supposed to leave at 5pm?

Good news is fully vaccinated from US and EU can now travel to England without having to quarantine.

Our Celebrity Silhouette Spain/Portugal cruise has been our favorite! Flew into Madrid for a couple of days, took fast train to Barcelona for two more days then embarked for a two week cruise. Loved it but other than the Baltic cruise to St. Petersburg that couldn’t make it into St. Petersburg we’ve never had a bad cruise.
That's good to know as we are booked on similar in October, we were also on the failed St Petersburg cruise!

it is now a residential island built up with houses, condos, and etc. access is by ferry from Amherstburg, or boat.
Nothing remains of the amusement park.
Happy cruising 🤗🚢🇺🇸🌅

Was on the Bob Lo Boat 56 years ago cruising on one of our first dates together with the love of my life.🥰
Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
Did the same thing in 1974 with my wife to be. We were both in our late teens and were visiting her brother in Windsor. I often think of it, wonder what it is like now?

Reflection is also still in Europe and sailings were available through October an hour or so ago.
Silhouette will be here also.

The following is how it will work in England, Rest of devolved nations are expected to follow. Sounds straightforward.

We were on early March cruise last year when SJN port would not let us in and next Cruise was cancelled. 4 MONTHS for refund ( we are Elite plus). Got Oceania WC refund in one month. Patience.
I don't believe loyalty status gets you refund any quicker!

Here is what's on the FAQ for the Millie sailings starting in June
At this time, we are requiring guests 18 years and older to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Each guest must submit proof of full vaccination no later than boarding day, in the form of the original vaccination record document issued by either (1) the country’s health authority that administered the vaccination (e.g., U.S. CDC's Vaccination Record Card) or (2) the guest's medical provider that administered the vaccination. Electronic vaccination records will only be accepted for residents of those countries where electronic documentation is the standard issued form (e.g., a unique QR code). The vaccination record submitted to Celebrity Cruises must show that the guest is fully vaccinated. This means that the guest has completed the full cycle of required doses for the vaccine administered (e.g., received the second dose in a two-dose series), and that the guest has received the final dose at least 14 days before sailing.
Is there a way to submit your record "prior to boarding day"? Would hate to get to the port only to find the record is not acceptable.

So what's the thinking in the UK? Do people believe that those July - September cruises will be opened up to people outside of the UK sometime this summer? Do people see the UK opening up to vaccinated travelers without staying in quarantine?
I think there is a very good chance of that, British Airways are gearing up transatlantic flights.

Why were they in Antigua?

For some reason, I thought that ALL Celebrity cruises were cancelled for the rest of the summer--perhaps well into the fall--except Millie out of St Maarten and Apex from Greece. (RCI from Nassau, NCL from Cyprus?)
Also Silhouettete from Southampton
