Checked my wife's, which is identical. She just recalls buying onboard, not that is Swarovski. Probably purchased on Volendam in 2004.

With the stones, I'm thinking a Swarovski marketed item from the gift shops, in the early 2000s.

We've got our cabana reserved, now just researching all the details. The list of provided services is fairly clear, what's not is:
Access control;
Off hours use (given open 9-6 );
Spa tub size, towels, hours;
Electric outlets availability;
View of big screen from aft facing cabanas.
Thanks for your insights.

Thanks for the insights.

We're wondering if the bike rickshaws are available to go down to the floating bridge, or perhaps even across and downtown.
As seniors, the roundtrip walk is a little too much.

Just purchased (online) a wine package for our December cruise. As a 3-Star I believe we should receive a 25% discount. Just trying to determine if the price listed reflected the discount, or am I going to have to seek it out once on-board.
TIA

What are our options to get over to the distillery for a tour?

They use to give you a card to redeem for the drink. I just realized I did not get a card to redeem. How do you get the drink, by asking and showing platinum sai and sign card in MDR?
Also, I found out by accident if I wanted my Platinum free gift, I needed to go to Pixel and ask for the hat pin and free photo album. This information was not disseminated to the Platinum guest on the Valor. I was also told by word of mouth to go to the casino bar to get my free bottle of water for the room. Am I missing anything else?
$25 free play in casino, just go to cashier and Show your card.

... We are cruising in March and just received an email offering it at Port Canaveral for our cruise,...
Curious how much before your sailing did you receive the email. TIA

We were told on a recent cruise that any illness reported will get you put on 72 hr quarantine.

We'll be waving back from our deck 5 balcony! Somehow we got a late check-in time of 2pm, so afraid the turnaround may be a bit chaotic today.

Wondering how that works and if you just do a room service menu, or what?

Interesting. Always was curious about the source of those small credits. Makes total sense now. Thanks!

Understand via VLOG reports that several of the restaurants are free in the evening. Anyone have a list or personal insight? TIA Sailing in 18 days.

As above it does not apply to cruises stopping there .. only if you fly in. No one is flying into half moon cay. Does not apply to cruise ship. No worries.
Good, thank you for clarification.

Some posts in other lines forums report the need for a health check visa for all visitors to any area in the Bahamas. Some even suggesting that includes Half Moon Cay.
Tell me this isn't so.

Maybe a Floridian or two can help us all out here? My question is:
Florida has always been a favorite USA location for USA and World travelers and visitors (Cruises, Disney, The Keys, etc.) for decades.
With all of those individuals potentially visiting annually, why would any age eligible Floridian not want to get vaccinated? If nothing else, to protect themselves from the out of State and/or out of Country visitors?
I am not trying to do anything but understand the current climate in Florida? Many of us will be eventually cruising from Florida. I am really am puzzled.
Thanks
As a full time resident of Florida, we don't understand the numbers either. Everyone our age (retired seniors) that we know, has been vaccinated. Without doing a statistical study, my guess is it is the younger urban population that is skewing the percentages.

We get on her in 2 weeks, trust you get all the bugs worked out by then. 😀

BACK2BACK
Anyone else doing the sailing on the 26th? That roll call is not very active. Only 5 days on a cruise just isn't enough, especially given it's been 18 months without any Vitamin SEA.
The fine print says B2B cruisers will be tested between sailings. I have to believe we will be tested onboard. Should be interesting how that all plays out.
Given the COVID restrictions in the Bahamas, most likely we'll stay onboard in Nassau & Bimini. Too bad, never been to Bimini. Undecided about HMC. Flexible given we repeated Nassau & HMC the following week.

I am not getting any emails, non notta. I sail 8/21. I know that Carnival has my email, I got an offer for a cruise today. This is getting extremely frustrating.
Ditto for us, nothing official from corporate during all this. Did final check in today, so I know we're going... but still..? Thank goodness for CC forums.

Those who are cruising now or recently returned, did VIFP's get early appointments and separate processing?

Good to know, thanks for commenting.

Wondering if they are having Ugly Sweater nights on sailings around Christmas?

Can we carry our "carry on bottle", opened (in cabin), out and about to enjoy during the evening? Are these bottles labeled somehow?
