  1. We've got our cabana reserved,  now just researching all the details. The list of provided services is fairly clear, what's not is:

      Access control;

      Off hours use (given open 9-6 );

      Spa tub size, towels, hours;

      Electric outlets availability;

      View of big screen from aft facing cabanas.

    Thanks for your insights.

    They use to give you a card to redeem for the drink. I just realized I did not get a card to redeem. How do you get the drink, by asking and showing platinum sai and sign card in MDR?

    Also, I found out by accident if I wanted my Platinum free gift, I needed to go to Pixel and ask for the hat pin and free photo album. This information was not disseminated to the Platinum guest on the Valor. I was also told by word of mouth to go to the casino bar to get my free bottle of water for the room. Am I missing anything else?

    $25 free play in casino,  just go to cashier and Show your card.

    Maybe a Floridian or two can help us all out here? My question is:

    Florida has always been a favorite USA location for USA and World travelers and visitors (Cruises, Disney, The Keys, etc.) for decades.

    With all of those individuals potentially visiting annually, why would any age eligible Floridian not want to get vaccinated? If nothing else, to protect themselves from the out of State and/or out of Country visitors?

    I am not trying to do anything but understand the current climate in Florida? Many of us will be eventually cruising from Florida. I am really am puzzled.

    Thanks

    As a full time resident of Florida, we don't understand the numbers either. Everyone our age (retired seniors) that we know,  has been vaccinated. Without doing a statistical study,  my guess is it is the younger urban population that is skewing the percentages.

  4. BACK2BACK

    Anyone else doing the sailing on the 26th? That roll call is not very active. Only 5 days on a cruise just isn't enough, especially given it's been 18 months without any Vitamin SEA.

    The fine print says B2B cruisers will be tested between sailingsI have to believe we will be tested onboard. Should be interesting how that all plays out.

    Given the COVID restrictions in the Bahamas,  most likely we'll stay onboard in Nassau & Bimini. Too bad, never been to Bimini.  Undecided about HMC. Flexible given we repeated Nassau & HMC the following week.

    I am not getting any emails, non notta.  I sail 8/21.  I know that Carnival has my email, I got an offer for a cruise today.  This is getting extremely frustrating.

    Ditto for us, nothing official from corporate during all this. Did final check in today, so I know we're going... but still..? Thank goodness for CC forums.
