We set up our account linked to a credit card but then pay down our account using cash to avoid charges to our card in the end. On our recent Carnival cruise there was a kiosk where you could check your S&S account and pay cash on it there without waiting at Guest Services.

Did you have your photo taken as you entered Nachi Cocom? If you, so might fax or email them a copy asking them to show the picture to cab drivers as they drop off and pick up offering your reward. My gut tells me that the driver would be happy to get it back to you if he had your contact information.
If it is found, ask if there is a place that ships to the US in Cozumel. I'd arrange for a prepaid box with your address so that all the driver has to do is turn it over. Yes, I really am an optimist ...
Good idea! We did have our picture made there at Nachi. My friend did call today and the lady from the Taxi company lost and found was very nice. She said that drivers check in on Monday evening and turn in anything left over the weekend, so to call back in the morning to be sure. I'm certainly happy to extend a reward and pay shipping to get it back. Heck they can have the camera too and just send me the SD card!! I'm an optimist too and I'm still holding out hope :)

I highly doubt I'll get it back but my friend did call today and the lady from the lost and found department was very nice...she said drivers check in on Monday evening and turn in any items left over the weekend at that time, so to call back in the morning to be sure. So we'll try again tomorrow morning...for now I'm praying and staying positive. If nothing else I hope whoever gets my camera for Christmas enjoys it as much as I did the last couple months :) It can be replaced and I will have the memories forever!

Thank you so much!! I have a Spanish speaking friend who I will ask to call today. I know it's a long shot but figure it's worth a try anyways. Thanks again for the info

Wanted to report back...the Taste Bar did have breakfast each day. There were HB and "scrambled" eggs, bacon, baked beans??, and some other odd sides. There were continental offerings like cereal, croissant, Danish, yogurt, and then the lunch meat and cheese selection. Also a fresh fruit. There was coffee and juice as well. At lunch there was a great salad bar located here along with a few buffet style offerings. Then later there was the "taste" which we enjoyed! Very convenient for level 5 cabins!!

My family visited Nachi Cocom in Cozumel Friday, November 22 and left my camera in the taxi when we were dropped off. I would like to reach out for any assistance in finding it. We came off the Carnival Sunshine, my camera is a red Lumix and contains all of our memories from our vacation. I do not know how to contact the taxi providers there in Cozumel to inquire so any assistance in that regard is greatly appreciated. I have emailed Nachi, but please let me know if you have any other suggestions. I know it's very unlikely that it will be returned but I have to try.
Thanks in advance!

20plus...
Thank you, I honestly didn't consider that. He didn't drop us off there, he picked us up there, but we did talk to him about the ship, so it's possible...

Thank you for the links...I will try both! I'm just sick over it, but the memories I'll have forever so I can't complain too much!

We sailed with our son as an infant and will be leaving Monday on our 9mo. daughters first cruise. Just bring plenty of everything she might need, including meds (baby Tylenol, gas drops, teething tablets, everything) and don't stress :). The staff really seem to enjoy the babies. It's not as relaxing as it used to be before kids, but what vacation would be?? At least you don't have to worry about where to eat, where to stay, cleaning up...it's still a great vacation.

That is what we buy through our TA as well. Never needed to use it yet, thankfully, so I can't comment on it other than it seems to be an economical choice and the coverage appears to be sufficient. We get the "cancel for any reason, any time" policy; can't recall the official name at this time.

We have a Deck 5 cabin on our Jan 12th Sunshine cruise, this looks very nice for us..... I hope it is getting use so they don't stop doing it.
We will be in a deck 5 cabin in two weeks on Sunshine so I will try to remember to report back here about this area.

here's the photo, what do you think?
While I agree it is unacceptable behavior, there is a possibility he doesn't understand what it means. Maybe he was misinformed by a previous passenger who thought it would be funny...crazier things have happened. I would have said something to him politely but then report if he continued to do it.
Loving the review...your baby is precious! We first sailed with our son when he was 11 months (now 4) and will sail with our 9 month old daughter for the first time in two weeks. We love all types of travel with our kids! Hope you make many more travel memories with baby E!

According to the deck plans my TA sent me its on deck 5 towards the aft. My cabin is a deck 5 aft so I'm hoping to get breakfast here to bring back to our cabin. I'm traveling with a small child and infant, so this would be convenient. I didn't see bacon in these pics though, bummer.

I've read that there is a limited breakfast buffet at the Taste Bar on Carnival ships that have it. Can anyone elaborate? I'm sailing Sunshine this month and my room is close to it...wondering if I can bring items back to my cabin to enjoy on the balcony. I'm curious what type of items are available on it? Thanks in advance for any info.

That's expensive! I booked Nachi Cocom for 5 for $180 total, includes food and drinks, even alcohol. Also booked a day pass at Westin in Grand Cayman for 5 for $154 total which includes private beach, pool, and room access!

Carnival Sunshine Naming Ceremony and Inaugural US Cruise
in Carnival Cruise Lines

We were on the inaugural trip as well and had a fantastic time! We loved the deck 5 aft corner OS (formerly 9C) cabin; great size and location! We mostly frequented the kid friendly venues (playground, pool, water works) since we had our kiddos but we also visited JiJi, the steakhouse and Cucina restaurants...all were great! My husband won a cruise so we'll be sailing again in March for our 15th anniversary...can't wait!!!
