I am looking at booking a tour with Wet Money. I saw on their website the tours meet in front of the Santa Maria Casino? How far is that from the cruise center? Is it walkable?

I would really like to go snorkeling at the Wall in Grand Turk. Can anyone recommend a tour company?

For our upcoming July cruise, it actually costs more per person for the 3 person cabins than the 2 person cabins. Passengers 1 and 2 in the 3 person cabins are more expensive than for the 2 person cabins so the 3rd person discount is false on our sailing. We were told high demand for 3 person cabins equals higher prices.

I forgot to ask, does anyone know if car seats are required for shuttles or limos? I am traveling with people that have young children.

Can someone recommend shuttle companies to go to/from Orlando airport and Port Canaveral?

I would not chance a 10am flight when cruising out of Port Canaveral. I have been on board where customs wouldn't let us start disembarking until after 8am.

Roatan is not a port that I would feel comfortable exploring on my own. I have never had an issue there, but I always stick with cruise excursion or a reputable tour (Bodden Tours). I have heard of people getting robbed, shot at; A NCL crew member was murdered for his IPhone in Roatan.

I rarely see/hear the people in nearby cabins so unless the people are obnoxious, I have no idea if the cabins near me are occupied.

Seems like a good rule. I honestly don't understand how anyone can leave their kids on a ship without them. Too many things can go wrong while in port. Besides, what's the point of bringing your kids in vacation with you if you are going to leave them with babysitters the whole time?

My sister will occasionally leave her younger two on board while she and her husband do an excursion with her older two. The kids love the camp so they are having fun.

The man seemed alert and conscious. It makes sense that they would try to revive the woman before working on the man. Of course, in the U.S. there would be enough personnel to work on both of them at the same time.

They said we could not board until 1:30, we are usually on by noon
They always say you can't board until 1:30 and I am always on the ship by 11. I don't think delaying departure by 2 hours while you are still on board deserves on-board credit. Just be thankful you are going on a cruise. There are people starving to death in this world.

More than likely Southwest. I drive to port since I live in Florida, but my sister is flying from Ohio. She has a baby and since Southwest has open seating, she and her husband want to check-in ASAP to get a better boarding number and sit together.

Does the $5/day social media internet package allow you to access airline websites to check in? I thought I read that somewhere, but I am not seeing that on Carnival's website. If not, I am assuming the $16/day plan does.

You are not going to be able to bring on homemade Sangria, but you should be able to bring on a sealed 750 mL bottle.

Yes, I regularly order the cheese plate as an appetizer. One cruise I ordered it on the first night and the waiter heard me telling my family who was trying to eat all my cheese to order their own. From then on, there were multiple cheese plates waiting on the table for us when we arrived to dinner.

The only cutback that I really cared about was the past guest party. I really think they should bring that back for gold's or at least split gold off into 2 categories and invite the higher level gold's to the party. Carnival made $1.76 Billion in profit last year so they can give me my free drinks and appetizers for an hour.

I have to say, I have sailed out of Miami numerous times and I have never had any problem figuring out what terminal my ship was at. I really don't blame the porter. Sure, he could have been more observant, but all of the Carnival tags look alike and there are thousands of pieces of luggage. I can't understand why these people didn't say anything to anyone before sailing once they realized they dropped their luggage off at a different terminal.
Once when we were sailing out of Port Canaveral, my sister's luggage was nowhere to be found at Orlando's airport. She waited in Orlando as long as she could for them to track down her luggage, but ended up having to get on the last shuttle to Canaveral so she didn't miss the ship. It turns out her suitcase got put with the Disney cruise luggage at the airport and made its way on board one of the Disney ships. I guess Disney must have a program that takes your luggage directly from the airport to the ship. Luckily for her, a Disney worker noticed the Carnival tags. Disney actually called her cell while she was on the shuttle to let her know they had her suitcase and would deliver it to her Carnival ship for her. Sure enough, her suitcase was delivered to her cabin embarkation night.

When getting off the ship at a tender port and you are not on a Carnival excursion, you have to stand in line in one of the lounges and they hand out number stickers. When your number is called, you will be led down to the tender boats. The earlier you line up to get your sticker, the earlier you will be off the boat.

We were on a summer cruise where we had 4 people in a 4 person cabin. We had to remove one of the people and we were told we either had to move to a 3 person cabin or pay the full fare for the 4th person to remain in that 4 person cabin. Three and 4 person cabins are in high demand during the summer.

Carnival wants to sail at capacity which is why they won't put 2 people in a 3 person room. That is one less fare they get. There are 2 person aft balconies so maybe you can switch to one if open. You either have to remove your daughter before final payment is due or pay for her and let her be a no show, which would cause you to lose the full amount of her fare.

I think they will apply the OBC towards the cost of the upgrade.

They do not care where you sleep. I wouldn't count on being able to take the trundle bed out of the OV and into the interior though.

I usually get a cold towards the end of my cruise. Last cruise 4 members of my family caught strep. This year I am going to take Sambucol, which is an elderberry supplement known to boost the immune system, starting a week prior to the cruise as well as on the cruise.

I always park at the port in Miami. It may cost more, but it is worth it to me. I have heard stories about cars being broken at some of the off site cruise and airport parking in Miami. Of course that could happen at the port too, but the port seems safer to me. I also like the convenience of walking off the ship and having my car right there. I hate having to wait for a shuttle with all my luggage.
Can I pay to upgrade?

I was told I would not be able to upgrade at a later date with the free casino offer. My PVP told me that they can only enter the promo once, so I would have to pick the cabin I wanted from the beginning or I would have to pay full price to upgrade at a later date.
