Shark b8 After following you along....I so want to return to Alaska on a sailing. We were fortunate to do two Alaska sailings quite a few years ago on HAL before we discovered Seabourn. Now that we have discovered Seabourn ...the thought of Alaska + Seabourn is really enticing to us. thank you again (and I won't mention the weather 🤣!) Bob

Isklaar - thank you - sounds like a plan for us 😆 Menus though limited look really interesting - and luv the fact they indicate dietary restrictions. Really hope the weather is favorable for us to enjoy a few nights there as an option. On our first Seabourn sailing right before covid we sailed with our good friends who did not find the menu's offered enough variety - my wife and I think they sound really interesting. Are the first three items considered "first course" followed by "second course" or are all 6 items entrees?

we tend to eat later...meaning 8-830ish for those who have dined at E&O - do you typically "see" the tables turn-over over the course of the night? I would think no? since it only opens at 7...can't imagine after an hr/hr and a half people would be finished? Boarding encore in 2 months and hoping the evenings will lend themselves to this dining venue in the med the second week of Oct.

To follow up - received an email on Friday that our request has been processed and our OBC credit will be available and posted on our account upon embarkation...so took about two weeks. 66 days till embarkation...but whose counting 😉

What is the typical turn around time - we are sailing in 2 months - Have sent a statement via email addressed to the appropriate dept - followed up two weeks later...no response. This is the first time we are requesting so I don't know the process..what to expect next (for those who have requested and received for prior sailings) thanks so much ! Bob

Thank you both. I did keep seeing mentions of both Marghera AND Ravenna from recent posters and being the planner that I am, today I was reserving my parking at the US airport we fly in and out of and was going to reserve car services for airport to port (Venice and then Athens where we disembark) when I saw Ravenna and thought...oh no ! Appreciate the quick replies ! Bob

Doing a quick search of current threads and it now appears that the current Seabourn sailings out of Venice sail from...? Understand its due to the ban on larger ships - just trying to understand what we need to do to get to the Encore in October 😉

Mr Luxury - couldn't agree more... but will add morning coffee on the balcony and that glass of wine or two in the evening

Thank you wesport E&O definitely on our radar for our OCT cruise in the Adriatic/Med. Thinking/hoping temps will be perfect for dining outdoors in the evening if the menu's strike our fancy.

So excited to FINALLY be sailing again in 3 months... Last sailing (pre covid) we did not take advantage of this dining option...but the more I am reading about it recently from posters it does sound interesting. For those currently on board and in the near future - if you have a chance and can post some of the nightly menus' that would be great. Would love to get a better sense of nightly offerings. TY Bob
