    I did this trip with AMA about 9 years ago and my recommendation is to do the entire trip with them. The tour guide was fantastic, and every Hotel we were in was excellent. The junket boat cabin was beautiful. We would give it an 11 out of 10 if we could. I have been on several river cruises since but this is my all time favorite trip. I am going on the AMA Magma in September.

    The Silversea Origin was excellent. The cabins are very spacious, staff onboard and tour guides were extremely helpful with equipment, knowledge about the islands and anything else. It was like being on a private yacht. Our voyage was unique - the captain woke the ship up at around midnight one night as we were cruising past an active volcano.

    I sailed in April , 2022 on the Silversea Origin. It was a great ship. Cabins were really nice, service excellent. Food choices were pretty limited but I think thats true of all exploration ships. This was a ship for older adults. The staff was excellent!

    I am going on the Pursuit on 6/29/22 and I was told the ship will be at half capacity.
