There are no views of the NY skyline from hotels at Newark Airport. To get that you're going to have to spend the money to get yourselves to Jersey City to stay in the Newport area. Do you have any thoughts about taking the train into NYC for your precruise evening?

We are flying into Newark early afternoon on Aug 30. We only need 1 room with 2 queen beds. No actual budget, but nothing too expensive or elaborate. I don't anticipate win will travel into NYC.

We are flying into Newark for an August cruise. Suggestions on a one night pre cruise hotel. We are 4 women traveling together so we are looking for somewhere safe. A good view of the city skyline would be a plus. Also, recommendations for transportation to the port and from the port to the airport.
