  1. Question for those sailing on the first Bermuda cruise for the season: What time does the Escape dock in Bermuda on day 1?

We are sailing on 10/28 and we do not arrive until 5PM on day 1! So, day 2 is a full day and then day 3 we leave at 2:30PM. For Bermuda, our shore excursion credit will be for 3 days at $50 per cabin per day. I have heard that only on the Bermuda cruise you will be allowed to combine the shore excursion credit. Please advise.

    Thanks!

I’m interested too. I thought that we had a total of $50 for the 3 days.

  2. Shynook we are on the same cruise. I have never been on the Escape so I can’t comment on the cabins. Never stayed in Haven, just suites on the Gem. The Suite Life was fabulous! The down side for me was it was tough to go back to a regular cabin last year! Ok, I’m spoiled. Many say that they only use cabin to shower and sleep. I enjoy the quiet and actually do spend time there.

  3. Thank you so much for this review! While I have stayed in forward PH before, this will be my first time in the Haven! I am so excited. I totally love forward. This time we will be in the Courtyard. Come on Shynook, join us!

Bella, I loved the way you described everything. It makes me wish that it was tomorrow.

  4. Thank you so much for this! Your exhuberance is contagious. I generally sail on the Gem but will be on the Escape in June in the Haven. Since there are a good amount of days at Sea, I figured that there would be time to enjoy the large ship. We are planning for Alaska for next year. I think that the Pearl would be better for me since I plan to spend a lot of time on land. You Birthday Girl will help me decide. I hope that you don’t mind if I check out your roll call so that I get some ideas for our Meet & Greet. Thanks for taking us along!

  5. Stace I will be on the week before you but we’ll be sure to leave plenty of fun for you.

A little research goes a long way. A dear friend of mine went on the BA and had a ton of complaints. These would have been taken care of with a little pre cruise research. I am not one to have a friend book a cruise and sit back and do nothing. I too appreciated the time that the OP and all others spend to make our trips great.
