Was in Amber Cove this past week on the Mardi Gras.

Water slides are open -- two of them, one open and one enclosed.  Umbrellas are $20 for the day.  Zip line all day pass is also $20.

Chairs are pretty plentiful in the first couple of hours, then at least for us got crowded.  Depends how many ships are in port, of course.  We had two others (one Celebrity and one Holland America) with us.  And being Thanksgiving week, the Mardi Gras was carrying the most passengers EVER (!!) on a Carnival ship, at nearly 6400.

Pool was great, there's a small lazy river and a swim up bar, and one end is zero entry,

    don't lazy rivers move though?

I don't think anyone has said a refund isn't deserved.

Mr TreyB very much said that...

You change your mind, you pay the consequences. Why do you expect them to immediately refund you when you booked prior and then changed your mind at the last minute, inconveniencing other guests who may have wanted a reservation?  You don’t deserve an immediate refund, if you deserve a refund at all.

Hi there, That's awesome. Which ship are you sailing on and when/where are you cruising? That information might help with some of the replies as well.

I enjoy NCl. Was last on the Encore. Working on bookings now for European sailings next. Those will be on smaller, older ships.

    Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks so much, I’m going on the Sun to Bermuda in November 😀

This is getting ridiculous and just another money maker for Carnival. They now offer a limited number of rapid testing for 100.00 a person. They say to get the at home test, no one has those. This is ridiculous. They give unvaccinated people 72 hrs to before boarding to get the test but those of us vaccinated only 48 hrs and no one can guarantee test back by then.

    They aren’t out of stock.

In Amber cove we did the VIP lifestyle all-inclusive beach day and really liked it,  although i would not call it a beach.  But it was definitly VIP and worth the money for a very nice day.  The food and Drinks there where great.  There is also a taxi stand at Amber cove,  which i did not realize before.   next time i might consider taking a taxi into tow and walking around.

curious about the beach, I've seen many people say what you said but no details

They accept the Abbott BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card Home Test with eMed Telehealth if you are fully vaccinated  Be sure it is the Home Test and not the Self Test.  I got mine on eMed but I think they are out.  I believe Optum has them.  Here is a link: https://store.optum.com/shop/products/abbott-binaxNOW-COVID-19-ag-at-home-test-kit-3-pack/

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but if I bought this multipack can both myself and my boyfriend use tests out of the same pack?

Could be many reasons, my guess it is roll over from Cuba changes....but who knows.  Frankly I think you are better off now....

Yeah, it was originally Cuba and then Nassau. I may be alone here, but I actually really like Nassau lol, I know a lot of people don't. I guess my question is more is it normal for them to just not even inform you.
