  1. I've logged into My Cruise Manager any number of times over the past several months. Our bedding choice has always been set to King. Today when I logged in to make our final cruise payment due now, the bedding had oddly switched to Twin. I am positive I did not make this switch.

It is not that big of a deal. An easy fix on the website to change it back to King. And even if they get it wrong, I know we can ask our steward to arrange the beds in our preferred configuration when we embark.

This happened on our Celebrity Alaska cruise, too. I am certain we chose twins for our kids' room, but it was set up to king when we embarked. They fixed it promptly when we asked.

Anyway, like I said, not a problem. Just wondering why the setting would change out of the blue on the Carnival website like that. Odd.

Either way, we are excited that our cruise is just 76 days away! I'll push the beds together myself as long as I am on a cruise! :)

Mine changed a bunch of times during my last cruise reservation lol

  2. Going in June for the first time and really looking forward to it. We could really only do the 4 day cruise, as hubby owns his own business. Hoping it’s not as bad as the previous replies suggest!!!

I hope you have an awesome time! Maybe I’ll end up on the same one lol

  3. Hi

Personally, I wouldn't choose that type of cruise as a first cruise. It would be for someone that knows they like "sea" days and the port wasn't necessarily important. So unless you know that you enjoy being on a ship and just watching the sky and the waves go by, you are travelling a long way for such a short visit.

    hope this helps

  4. Short isn’t my first choice, but my boyfriend has less vacation time than me so I’m trying to get in as many trips this year as possible. [emoji3] looking to do the 4 day Horizon

  5. For those of you that have better things to do than attack and act like you are something special on here, I appreciate your valuable input. [emoji3] as for the rest of you, if you actually read what I said, I didn’t blame anyone and literally said that I changed the room and it was gone. So, yah it’s annoying. Pretty sure I didn’t say anything was ruined or that I blamed anyone. I feel bad for your fellow passengers who are stuck on a boat with you because it’s bad enough being on the same site.

  6. We paid for our entire cruise using gift cards. We will purchase Cruise Cash with our gift cards...then the money is on our S&S account when we board the ship. I’d rather skip the line to apply gift cards plus I’ve read that others’ have had issues applying gift cards while on the cruise (anti fraud verification taking 6-24 hours and/or kiosks not working). Just fyi, Cruise cash is nonrefundable, use it or lose it and the maximum amount is $500. It has been mentioned that there are ways to cash out in the casino however I have no personal experience in that regard. I would not buy the photo or bar cash because those can only be used for those things and cruise cash can be used for anything on the ship.

Thank you! Didn’t think of that!

  7. You can pay off your cruise balance now as well as purchase item(s) from the Fun Shops as well as gratuities and excursions. To apply them for onboard spending otherwise, you have to do it when you check in, at guest services, or at a kiosk.

  8. I agree, I was debating over OV and balcony from inside and thought ship will be full and I really want that balcony. So I choose Balcony Guarantee. I'l be happy with the room, couldn't take the chance on OV hoping for Balcony.

Now if I get anything else would just be a cherry on top! :)

I originally booked an inside because at the very least I wanted to get on the ship. Then I changed it to a balcony to surprise my boyfriend.
