Do you know if there is a promo code for a discount on parking?

You get $5 credit for signing up for their loyalty program and also check their FB page. They had a $5 code for April on there. Not sure if that's still good or if they posted a new one.

Thanks for that. Do you know roughly how long they stop at the rocket park? If I do both tours, I should have lots of time at the rocket park.

    Simon

You can stay there as long as you like. You get off the tram there and then get on any available tram to go back to the main complex.

  3. Just booked a cruise out of Galveston and I have an existing Royal Caribbean account and a bunch of past sailings. The initial reservation I got appeared to be in French but the 2nd one with more details was in English so I just ignored it. Then later on I went in to edit guest info and noticed that Citizenship for everyone says "Etats-Unis" which is United States in French per Google. There's no option for "United States" in English but everything else is English.

Has anyone seen this before? I reached out to customer service online - waiting to hear back.

Probably just a bug in their system but curious...

Yes, that is correct. Quinto sole is next to the old snr frogs although I didn’t  realize they were the actual owners of the property. I confirmed the location with shore excursions when  I was on the Adventure in May. Have you been now and were you able to use the hotel facilities as well?

At one point they also had an affiliation with Blue Kay which is next door again but who actually owns what and what is sub-let becomes a rather grey area!

    Was there today. Nothing special.

There was a bunch of little separate beach sections and there were Blue Kay signs everywhere.

The beach is more like a sectioned off lagoon.

    Drink food servers were good.

The only facilities we used were the bathrooms / shower area outside. I didn't even know there was a hotel until we were leaving and saw the sign. When we were arriving the only sign I noticed is a property for lease or sale one...

The question didn’t derail, it was a continuation of when this question was originally asked pre-covid.  I am not sure if there have been any changes. As I recall it didn't get great reviews but you would need to use the search engine to find them. There were previous reviews but obviously now dated.

I will see if I can find any updates regarding location for you on board. What specifically are you looking for besides loungers?

Thanks. Basically just want to know where it goes and what is offered because the Review/Highlights section on RCCL doesn't really say much. Is this private beach club = Maya Chan Beach Resort?

Also was wondering what the "amenities" are since the description doesn't specify other than that + beach chairs, pools and open bar.

  6. Looks like the original question / topic derailed. So just going to check one more time if anyone has been on RCCL and taken the "Beach Break with Open Bar" in Costa Maya. If yes - where exactly does it go and what do they provide there? Again the description is not very detailed and there are no reviews.

(I don't care about Pools or anything else in the port itself)

    Thanks

  7. I don't want a pool. We can go to a pool on a ship 😉

What I am trying to find out is what a specific RCCL excursion offers other than beach chairs. Its the one I mentioned in my original message but the description which Royal Caribbean provides hardly has any details and they don't have a feature where people can leave reviews either.

Hence - trying to find someone who may have been on that particular one to specify what this resort includes besides a beach, chairs and bar

  8. Has anyone done the "Beach Break with Open Bar" excursion on Royal Caribbean in Costa Maya?

Their site does not have any reviews for excursions and it doesn't provide much details either. For amenities all it says is open bar, pool and lounge chairs...

Tried searching for that excursion/name on this forum and online but didn't find much.

Breeze has it - different deck.  It was nice.

Even though they have a non smoking annex you still have to go into the main casino if you have any winnings and want to cash it out.

My wife can't stand cigarette smoke and played in a non smoking casino. Then realized there's no cashier there. I took her card to the smoking section and they wouldn't let me cash out without her signature. Doesn't seem right and Carnival needs to have a cashier in the non smoking casino.

  10. Got on the Breeze today and the check-in wasn't as great as your experience. We parked and walked to the terminal at 12:15. Our time slot was 12-12:30. The line outside was long. It was nearly 1 PM before we got inside and the line there was even longer with everyone packed in. That part is for them to check your vaccine and test status then go through security. That part took about 1 hr and then you go to the actual boarding check-in. By the time we got on the ship it was 2:15 so about 2 hrs of lines / check in

     THEY is Carnival.

When people are asking questions about Carnival policies many people just copy and paste from the Carnival website.

All the information is on the Carnival website.

The post that was provided as example doesn't look like anything Carnival would post on their website...using references like 'They' in the post itself...Hence the question of where that came from.

Reference the source with links...but that's a question for OP and not you.

Maybe I misunderstood. They are talking about two doses here. I thought they were saying you needed a two dose series. Am I interpreting this incorrectly?

    Who is "they"?

Where did that post come from but either way its only clarifying things for those who have the 2 vaccine type. J&J is one dose and is OK

  13. Is it really a sale though? Whenever they lower the deposit they hike up the overall price.

I just reserved a cruise with a regular deposit few days ago. Today they have the same thing for 1/2 deposit that I paid but overall the price is nearly $300 more. That's not much of a sale unless you can't afford the deposit now and are willing to pay more overall.

June 6,2020. So I moved it to July 25 and it got canceled too. Silly me rebooked my shore excursion and paid for the beverage package for the July 25 sailing thinking my refund for those fun shop items would come quickly.  So now I am waiting on about $1900.00 in refunds for those things. Wish we could just transfer those to the new booking, but they say you can't.

So your original sail date was June 5th and they did refund your fare?

I'm still waiting in mine. Cruise was for Jun 9 and submitted cancellation form Apr 1
