Going in early-February on a partial transit through the new locks. Currently, we are booked in a Port side Fwd-facing balcony room.........we will obviously go right back through the locks later the day so we will get both views....but we were wondering if the morning sun will be an issue and therefore we might want to change to Starboard side (that faces West in the AM) so we don't get the afternoon sun coming from the West. Other considerations? Thank you!

We are deciding between 2 cabins on a PC sailing on HAL on the Rotterdam. We are sailing Westbound on a partial transit through the Canal. 1) Fwd Facing Vista Suite (6001 or 6002) --or- 2) Aft- Sunset Verandah (6235) Obviously both would have amazing views in their own right. The Fwd Vista Suite with huge wraparound balcony could be amazing when going through the locks but it is only 1 day of 12 -- and I wonder if the Aft (VS) balcony would be better (and $900 less). Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thx.

Does anyone know when Princess typically will release their Panama Canal scheduled sailings? As of now (April 15 of 2023), they only go out to Aug of 2024. Most other lines have already released their 2025 PC schedule. I have heard Princess does it right, so I want to see what ship(s) they will be sailing. I am assuming they will have Island Princess going (for PanaMaxx size), but I am wondering if they will have a larger ship sailing too. Thank you!

We are sailing in a Sky Suite (S1) on 12/1/23 10-day Southern Caribbean sailing on Celebrity Beyond. Trying to determine which cabin to choose. Decent amount of availability right now. Wondering... Port side or Starboard? Best deck? (avail on 10 and 11 primarily for the non-Aft Sky Suites) Do elevator banks in Midship cause a lot of noise? (e.g., is 11207 or 11208 too close the elevators?) Will Magic Carpet affect view/shade (it obviously will for the S3 Sky Suites) Thank you in advance!
