Just plan to be in a strategic location early enough to beat the rush once the crew allows people to leave the ship. If you port at 11:30am, you can't be on the lido deck and expect to take the elevator down when they make the announcement.

We were on the Breeze in April and were always off the ship very quickly as soon as it was cleared by the port customs. A little planning goes a long way.
-
In april on the Breeze, we boarded asap with FTTF, dropped bags off at room, hit pig & anchor and guys burgers while having drinks. Played mini golf and ropes course. Went to muster and sail away on the front deck of our floor.

I would choose none of the above. All of those ports are carnival centric or just crappy (Nassau).

I feel the same way about CDs too. Bi could care less who the CD is. I dont feel the need to act like they are my best friend or need to know them personally. Honestly, they do nothing for me.

Personally we liked the Sunshine much more than the Breeze. Waterworks on Sunshine is situated better. Buffet layout is better on Sunshine too. Sunshine had multiple stations with 2 sides where Breeze was always one long line for everything. Sunshine also has Havana bar. Both have Alchemy Bar, Guys, and Blue Iguana. Breeze does have Guys BBQ though. Some people complain about the comedy club on the Sunshine, but they are the ones who want to show up as it starts and expect a prime seat. We just show up 15-20 mins early and it is no big deal.

My parents recently lost their car keys on the Breeze in April. I filled out the form online. About a month later I got an email saying they found them. Cost me $8 to have them mailed to my house but they got them back.

I have ordered thousands of dollars of cards for myself, my brother, and my parents. Never took more than 5 business days to receive. I wonder if the people with the delays live in the middle of nowhere or in a mid-large city?

We have been 4 times to the steakhouse and it has never been the quiet environment everyone talks about. Sure it is a bit quieter than the MDR but far from the quiet , relaxing meal everyone seems to talk about. Plus as slow as the service is in the MDR, it is way slower in the Steakhouse...at least for us it was.

I never snorkel from the beach. When I snorkel from a boat, I usually swim up current and float back to the boat. The novices all swim away from the boat with the current.
-
When we snorkeled on an excursion in Grand Turk we were offered vests but we did not use them. Same thing on excursions in Grand Cayman and Freeport and an AI resort Jamaica. When I snorkel, I want the freedom to dive down the the reef to explore and take pictures.

No WhatsApp will not work unless you purchase a wifi plan.
There are directions on the App on how to add people not in your booking.

meant Jeff Ruby's

Obviously you do not know me. Last time I went to Jeff Ruby's (just a few weeks ago) I spent well over $200 for just my wife and I. I know good steak. We always have great service in the MDR because we treat the servers like people and not servants. The last 2 times i ate at the steakhouse it was not as good as Outback or Texas Roadhouse ( not that these are great). Obviously not worth $38 to me. Fatty tough steaks!!!! Spiced rubbed ribery horrible taste, tomahawk way too much fat and gristle, NY strip way too tough. And by the way, my last outing to Ruth Chris' was horrid. Worst food and service I have ever had at a premium restaurant. Will not be back.

Just get discounted gift cards and forget the cruise cash. Its main purpose was for gifting money to people on a cruise

Wherever I eat on the ship I am going out to eat. I can choose included venues or pay extra venues.
For me it's simple; the steakhouse isn't offering enough above the MDR to pay the current charge.
I totally agree with the above. Tge $38 per person is not really worth it. Steaks are really not that good and service not any better than what we have had in MDR. Save your money.

I think the tours are much different than resorts. Tour operators survive off of weird of mouth. 1 horrible experience would doom their business

We did the Falls tour through Iguana Mama in April and the food we excellent. The rum drinks provided by iguana Mama were excellent too. No sickness here.

No sense in everyone complaining about the fee. Choices are simple...buy or dont. If enough stop buying, maybe the fee will disappear....but prob not.

Because there were some questionable deaths in the DR, I could use the same reasoning and say don't go to a major US city, movie theater, high school, college, bar, shopping mall, etc. I went to Cancun last year and everyone was on alert because of Cartel violence. I went, had a great time, even wandered off the resort and never felt unsafe. Now I was not out and about at 3am, but I never felt unsafe. If smart people take the correct precautions, 99.9% of the time you will be ok.

You will be fine at Amber Cove. People are over reacting to the resort events to include Amber Cove.

I did this itinerary in April. I don't have the Fun Times but I can tell you the elegant nights were first sea day and San Juan. It will not be Grand Turk day since it is in port 12-6.

helps to know the exact Itineraries (eastern, western, etc)

We did this same time in St Thomas in April. We shopped downtown for a couple hours then headed to Megans Bay for a few hours. Left there around 5 to head back to port area to shop there. Was plenty of time at each stop.
What advice to give to kids?

To me it is not so much the kids as the worthless parents. Parents these days don't pay attention to their kids or discipline them. I would tell the parents take responsibility and be sure your kids don't act like little aholes.
