  1. We had sailed out of Baltimore 19 years ago. Couldn’t remember embarcation but did remember the Maryland crab cakes we ate at our hotel.  We drove down then in October 2004 and would do the same. Glad to hear even now it is an easy port to use and parking is more reasonable than New Jersey or Miami.
We sailed on Grandeur last winter and found the crew so nice.

I have been looking at this post and imagined it was a poll to see how many cruisers might want  the musical Hair to be put on a RCCL ship. But I much more enjoyed your topic. However, I am sure you did not.

And here I also thought Hair was coming to RCCL.  They would have been great in my opinion.

  3. Just checked out the Symphony menu and I like the themes most nights like the Windjammer.  Also there seems to be an Indian entrée every night which I love. You would hope however that the lobster at 16.99 would be larger and better than the one which used to be included.

You will enjoy that cabin location.  Are you on deck 7?  On M class ships, the aft facing cabins were tiered with deck 7 having a little larger veranda than 8 and 8 a little bigger than 9.  I would sail in any of the M class aft cabins on decks 7/8/9.  Would really love deck 6, but alas I do not stay in cabin enough to enjoy a suite, but would enjoy the balcony and hot tub.

Infinity was always our favorite M class ship, especially if the Thassotheropy pool in the Solarum was open/working. 🙂

On deck 9, just a short run up to oceanview cafe to pick up drinks for the balcony.

GIven that my family has life threatening allergies... now I'm wondering if it's safe for us to sail E Class at all. Having the same waitstaff be familiar with allergies makes our life much less stressful and having to explain them to everyone each day would detract significantly from our enjoyment of the cruise.

My suggestion would be to reserve anytime dining at the same restaurant, at the same time every night. Then speak to the maître D and request the same wait staff. That maître D could also make your other arrangements. If anytime isn’t available on line, give Celebrity a call and explain your situation. I believe they have an accommodation representative.

  6. The Panhandle would also be my suggestion with New Orleans as last destination to fly home from.  Easy drive from Ft. Lauderdale via turnpike, to I-4with a few nights in Tampa, then up to Panhandle beaches, then I-10 to Louisiana.  I think I got those correct.

I’m not seeing any changes from what was a announced last week.

im still see no tests for some departures of 5 or less nights and tests for sailing over 5 night tests needed.

Mine says 8 nights or less. Maybe if you refresh or erase cookies. I double checked since our next cruise is 6 nights.
