  1. This is mostly just a tangent to express my frustration. I booked a cabin back in 2019 for summer of 2020. 2 adults and 2 kids. We booked a very specific category, location and cabin (1C). Like many I had to move it to 2021 and then again to 2022. In the summer of 2021 my wife was pregnant with our 3rd and we were expecting to have to reschedule again. The baby happened to come early and just make the 6 month cutoff by a few weeks. Shortly after the baby came I contacted our TA to see what our options are. I was thinking I would have to move cabins or add a 2nd cabin but there was still enough availability to get something we would be very happy with (even had some options picked out). TA called back and said they were able to add the baby to the room (the room technically fits 4) and i only had to pay port fees and taxes. I was extremely happy with the outcome! Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, I went to look at the available excursions and see my cabin was moved and downgraded without notifying me (8D x2). 2 cabins but smaller balcony, much less desirable location. I'm being told that Royal screwed up by adding the 5th person and since there is basically nothing but suites available because it took them so long to catch their mistake, my only option is 2 downgraded cabins that we are extremely unhappy with. I reached out to the executive office and their response was basically "we are sorry we messed up and we acknowledged if we caught it sooner you would have had more options but we cant do anything for you". I asked about upgrading me to a suite that was available and she literally laughed at me. I know some might disagree since they gave me 2 cabins but I also know there are many on here who like me are very specific about the cabin they choose. I know I'm just screwed here because Royal has all my money, I'm just extremely frustrated with the callous reaction from Royal.
  2. If I didn't receive an invite email do I have to wait until under 30 days to go directly to the Royal Up website? I'm at a little over 60 days and keep getting the 30 day error.
  3. I apologize in advance because I know this was answered but I can't find it in my search. My TA provided me with 2 complimentary specialty dinners and we wanted to use 1 at Izumi. If it's 2 dinners do we just get a pool of $70 ($35 each) to use together? If I bring my kids can they use from that pool together with us? TIA
  4. Don't children get some sort of wow band in case there is an emergency or they get lost?
  5. Heres an example. Nassau Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter is $99 (sold out) through RC and $150 direct.
  6. I've never booked an excursion through the cruise line before but for some reason it's actually less expensive then booking direct.
  7. I'm a little over 90 days away from my sailing and noticed a few excursions are already sold out. I remember reading somewhere that they aren't even posted until 90 days before the sailing. Should I expect the excursions to start opening up when its under 90 days or am I just out of luck?
  8. My point is that Royal should be more transparent so a customer can make an informed decision regarding the risk of traveling.
  9. What exactly is the validation process? Is it just showing a card? Where I live we have an app that gets their information directly from the vaccine site but how does Royal verify someone that just shows a card?
  10. Our 3 kids are close to the same ages as yours and I'm really hoping our youngest sleeps in the stroller.
