Oops sorry, Lucas Fletcher arrived at 11.18 am on 2nd May - 4 kgs (8lb 8 oz). Mum and bub are home ( they get rid of them quick these days). Dad rapt and big sister ( almost 2) can’t keep her hands off bubba.

It looks like it is a carving at the memorial school - it is called Victoria as the money to rebuild after WW1 was donated by school children from Melbourne. In Villers Brettoneaux, France. Seine River. The Aussie flag flies in this village. Incidently there is an area about 1 km from my home where the street names are all from these battles ie Poziers, Messines Ridge, Paschendale etc

Does the carving also depict the NZ Silver Fern? Perhaps at Villers Bretonneux in France

It is in Frankfurt. (Not sure of the name - but I will give it to you.). Our River cruise started in Frankfurt, we overnighted there before and visited the Christmas Markets in the morning. We had about an hour to kill before going to the meeting place for the start of the cruise. We saw the HO Ho bus and the driver gave us a discount for  a circuit on the route - we didn't want to hop on  and off. Saw the underground station from the bus.  Here is a broader view.

Do a google search - ie German Christmas markets. You should get a couple of sites that list dates/times. I had used a site but dates are still from 2019. Remember, most were probably cancelled in 2020 so info may not be up to date.
