  1. I was comparing our cruise we have booked for 2024 to Hawaii with a land based holiday to Hawaii and I can't believe the cost of some hotels. Not only that on Maui a can of coke is $3.25.

Having never visited Hawaii I wonder what peoples thoughts are? Cheers..........

  2. before we have cruised we normally have a look at some reviews and then after we have returned we wonder if the people posting "really bad reviews" have been on a different ship. But I suppose its all about ones expectations and the service they receive. So far we have been very lucky with all our Celebrity cruises because apart from a chicken being undercooked on the first night they have all went to plan....People pay good money for a celebrity cruise so they deserve quality service.

  3. Received a call from my agent. Issues with the port has changed the sail date from 21 Sept 24 to 20th Sept 24 meaning it is now a 13 night cruise and not a 12 night cruise.

Our price of the cruise remains the same with a complimentary 100$ obc per balcony cabin stateroom. Full refund offered if deciding on cancellation.

PS I believe the 13 Sept 2024 sailing from Vancouver is also affected as the agent mentioned the two dates.

Neither Hilo nor Kona is noted for great nightlife. I'd make reservations for a nice dinner in each spot and then partake in activities on the ship. Whether you eat late or make reservations for sunset is a personal call.

You could do a luau in Kona, Voyagers of the Pacific Luau is well regarded, but that would be doing something just to be doing something.

    Which ship are you on?

  5. For anyone who has been/cruised to Hawaii we believe the casino is closed for the nights the ship is in Hawaii ports? We have booked a cruise that stops for overnights in Hilo, Kona and Maui so wondering if there are any recommendations for evening activity while off the ship?

  6. I have a couple of FCC's from cruises that were booked with a US travel agency and I want to use them in the UK [we are in the UK]. I'm sure I was able to do this previously but my UK TA is saying that Celebrity cannot accept a US $ value FCC in the UK.

    Anyone know different?

  7. Very glad we booked our upcoming cruises a while back. Looking forward to our Edge adventure going from Rome to Dubai in 2023 and then in 2024 another Edge adventure from Vancouver to Hawaii.

Not too impressed with what has been released recently as I tend to agree much of the same but with bigger inflated prices.
