Continental breakfast. No hot foods. Nice spread of meats, cheeses, salmon, fruits, breads, pastries.
Only if there are enough CC members, otherwise they serve plates.

I'm sure they didn't come up with this policy just for the fun of it, I would venture to guess that the frequency of draining the pool, cleaning and refilling it after each 'incident' just got to be too much of a pain for the staff to handle.
Then there is the Ecoli, someone gets sick and spreads it throughout the ship and it's all X's fault.

It's right next to the pepper grinders.
The pepper grinder reference is getting a little stale

Hi, travelling on FOS, wondering if hummus is available at the buffet
Thanks

My, My, we have a nasty bunch on this thread.
-
Just curious, what is purpose of linking the reservations
-
Not to hijack this thread but why is it Canadian TA's can't or won't compete with US TA's. Do the CDN. TA's not get the same deal from the cruise lines.
-
Go ahead and get the package and if your spouse wants to try a drink or have a glass of wine, go and get it for them. no harm done
And when the next price increase comes or the policy changes back, we'll know why,

Hi, just booked an adjoining room on FOS TA, what's been your experience with noise from the other room. Are the doors more sound proof than land hotels.
Thanks

Hi, I found I had to sign into My Celebrity to receive the discount.

No, leave it the way it is!
As for improving the appetizers, we already have a thread on how we should tell them how to make more money off of us,so don't dare ask for more!
I find it amusing that so many say that drinks are free with the beverage package. Nothing could be further from the truth. Just look at cruise fares.
I like to say the drinks are not free but prepaid

Hi, trying to decide on a transatlantic cruise, looking for info comparing both ships. NOS is about 42.00 per day cheaper. Is there a big difference, food, rooms, entertainment, etc. Any info would be appreciated. I have also posted on the X forum.
Thanks

When the volume annoys me, it's too loud and I don't need data to confirm that.

Planning on group taking the Equinox next Oct 15 and Celebrity is giving us one perk.... obviously the drink package.... can't understand why anyone would buy a 2nd perk? If you bought the prepaid tips for $15 each a day.... that would be $300 which is more than what you would spend just paying the tips? If you took the $300 OBC you would be paying $15 x 2 a day which is $300. Am I missing something???
Well, what ever your are missing I'm missing as well. Our cruises are usually 14 days. Tips 12.00 x 2 x14 days= 336.00, perk costs 15.00x2x14=420.00. OBC perk 300.00 per cabin, again it costs 15.00x2x14=420.00. Internet, we get 180 min. per cabin and that's plenty. Beverage pkg. not a big plus as we are not drinkers and the other beverages, we pay as we go. So, give me the stripped out cruise fare and let me look after my spending. This may not work for everyone but it works for us.

My thoughts, many years ago I worked for a Supermarket chain and once a year the local magazine would do a poll, best deli, best bakery etc. Well we would go and pick up a load of entry forms and have everyone in the office would spend an hour or two filling in the info. For a couple of years we were voted best in every dept. Then the competition figured it out. So now when I see Voted #1, I smile and remember the old days.

I have done quite a bit of research in the past' date=' but I never found a US agent who would let me book in Canadian funds.
I hope one day, I can find out who you use![/quote']
Me too, sometime ago I did read there was one in Florida, but no name was given

Just curious, are Canadians still booking with high US exchange rate.

I experienced the same thing in Dec. Price was higher when booked onboard vs online

Where are the port fees in your on line price? Aren't the taxes and port fees approximately $270 a person?
The port fees and taxes are included in the 306.00.

Hi, while aboard the Eclipse (Dec21/Jan04) I looked at booking British Isles (June9) cruise. Checked the pricing on line from the icafe, inside gty, $CDN, 2069.00 plus 306.00 tax, total 2375.00 X2-4750.00. Went to Future Cruises to book and the pricing was $CDN 1979.00, plus 306.00 tax plus 270.00 port fees. total 2555.00 x2-5110.00. Booking onboard promo was 150.00 OBC. So where's the benefit of booking onboard.
