I have never had a problem booking a reservation for Chops on the ship. And most of the time we aren't charged for the kids at all. Maybe it's a fluke. We tip well in that case. If you book for the first night once you board you will be offered a discount most likely.

There is a Diamond discount. I believe it is 20% off regular prices. I like to book the specials myself and find the discount better than the Diamond discount. I have use the Diamond discount on salon services which rarely get discounts.

I have noticed sometimes that only certain liquors are available on different ships too. It's weird. 

And Royal says JS are 301/81.

Well cabin size is pretty basic. And shrinking them to jam in more would not surprise me!!!

And should it surprise us that their website it then wrong and so are cruising websites that use their information?? 🙄 119 vs. 198 is a huge difference. What are the large balcony cabins? 177 sqft with the 80.sqft balcony?  Because even Royal says Oceanview with Balcony have the same size balconies as Large Balconies which doesn't make sense. 🤔

If you get a Labadoozie in a souvenir cup you also pay extra. I just ask for a regular cup and don't get the upcharge.

Well it would not be over half of them that size so the app must be wrong.

Ok. I use an app that I can look up cruises quickly then go to the source (RC) but it is easier on my app to look around than on RCs website. I will dig further. The app wouldn't let me put more than 1 kid in my room either so it must have some links for that ship.  

I didn't read all of the posts. But a site I looked at had the majority of the balcony cabins at 119 sq ft! Is that accurate? Only 2 categories were 182 sq ft with larger balconies. I haven't had a cabin that small (119) since I had an inside on the Monarch. Are they crazy? 

It is usually in Royal Gifts, not the planner itself.

No gratuity or tax. It's a good deal in my book vs buying per drink since we definitely won't drink enough for the drink package on our next cruise (plus DL access.)  I purchased 1 rum and 1 bottle of Absolut for our upcoming Serenade cruise. We are docked in Bermuda 2 nights so we won't be drinking many nights.

Booking early often trumps any sales later on. I did manage to save almost $900 on a rebooking with a kids sale free promotion but the cruise was still over a year away. And my TA did all the work. 

Stay out of the Bahamas and you will be fine. 

Until HOTS is due for a drydock, you won't see this. 

They had the minibus rides a few years ago and they were $7. It is cheaper to take the bus especially if you get a pass. Thanks for the tips.  

I just found this description of the new AO on Allure after dry dock. It looks like 3-5 will have the option of a separate area like the babies and tots. Everyone can breath easy.

I have been to Bermuda once before. We did our beach day by getting bus tokens and took the Bermuda bus to Warwick Long Bay first. Just ask the driver where to get off. We then walked down to the beach and it is beautiful. It was pretty empty. We then walked along the ocean (on the beach or up on a ridge on a trail) and went to Jobson's Cove. Google it. Just beautiful! We ended our day at Horseshoe Beach and got a late lunch. We had taken drinks and snacks with us plus our own snorkeling gear. It was the perfect beach and snorkeling day. We then took the bus back to the ship. You can pay just to go up the hill if you don't want to walk. Have fun! We will be there in October.

No. But do you really think a three year old and 12 year old will be interested in the same activities? Not a chance. And they would probably not allow it unless they are related. I think 12 is actually with the teens on RC anyway. But regardless, they are reconfiguring the areas and will at least allow a seven year old to play with their 10 year old sibling or 5 and and 7 year old , etc which currently is not always possible and is really silly IMO. The littles will not be in danger.
