    Sailing Oasis Dec 8, 2019.

Should I pre-book a spa treatment for my wife now, or is there a Diamond member discount available among the discounts once on-board?

    Thank you

There is a Diamond discount. I believe it is 20% off regular prices. I like to book the specials myself and find the discount better than the Diamond discount. I have use the Diamond discount on salon services which rarely get discounts.

You shouldn’t believe everything on Royal Caribbeans consumer website.  As Awestover89 said above its Royals travel agent site...much more accurate.

Well cabin size is pretty basic. And shrinking them to jam in more would not surprise me!!!

That's from CruisingPower, Royal Caribbean's travel agent booking site

And should it surprise us that their website it then wrong and so are cruising websites that use their information?? 🙄 119 vs. 198 is a huge difference. What are the large balcony cabins? 177 sqft with the 80.sqft balcony?  Because even Royal says Oceanview with Balcony have the same size balconies as Large Balconies which doesn't make sense. 🤔

I don't see how that can be accurate.

Ok. I use an app that I can look up cruises quickly then go to the source (RC) but it is easier on my app to look around than on RCs website. I will dig further. The app wouldn't let me put more than 1 kid in my room either so it must have some links for that ship.

  5. I didn't read all of the posts. But a site I looked at had the majority of the balcony cabins at 119 sq ft! Is that accurate? Only 2 categories were 182 sq ft with larger balconies. I haven't had a cabin that small (119) since I had an inside on the Monarch. Are they crazy?

Thanks folks! I think this is for sure a better deal than purchasing individually as 60$ worth of rum and cokes would be 4 on the ship and I can get at least double that out of this bottle.

Unless theres an 18% gratuity buying this bottle as well......

No gratuity or tax. It's a good deal in my book vs buying per drink since we definitely won't drink enough for the drink package on our next cruise (plus DL access.)  I purchased 1 rum and 1 bottle of Absolut for our upcoming Serenade cruise. We are docked in Bermuda 2 nights so we won't be drinking many nights.

Hi Nicstress  I will join the roll call.  I let John know that we are good if he is good to join you for the glow worms.  I will let you and John coordinate the transport but it will be 4 extra adults if you can update your arrangements and let us know the cost.  I will work with John to get us booked on with Ana Luna.  Thanks!

    Hi Pxy Cda,

Please respond to my post in the roll call and confirm when you have booked the Ana Luna Glow Worm cruise in October.

  8. Are you on the 10/13 Serenade roll call? There are 13 of us doing the Ana Luna Glow Worms and I have arranged transportation back to the ship afterwards as a group. Let us know if you book and want to join us on the way back! Head on over to our Roll Call. Post #153

    Charles,

My DW and I are traveling with  PXY CDA on this cruise,  Can't wait.  We arrive on Oct 16th and we have thought about a glow worm cruise on Ana Luna that night or if there is some where that can see them from land.

We are on Serenade in mid October.  We will be there for the glow worm timing.

the Carriage ride is by Bronco Stables.https://www.broncostablesbermuda.com/   or google.   It is a guided carriage ride through Georgetown.

  9. I just found this description of the new AO on Allure after dry dock. It looks like 3-5 will have the option of a separate area like the babies and tots. Everyone can breath easy.

"New Adventure Ocean, where kids can choose their own adventures across a new layout. The makeover brings to life interactive and personalized activities and features in areas like The Arena for friendly competition in interactive games; The Play Place with whimsical rooms featuring climbable creations; The Workshop for science, tech fun, and hands-on art; the Hangout, to try gaming consoles; AO Babies for babies and tots, as well as experiential activities at the AO Junior space designed for 3- to 5-year-olds.

  10. I have been to Bermuda once before. We did our beach day by getting bus tokens and took the Bermuda bus to Warwick Long Bay first. Just ask the driver where to get off. We then walked down to the beach and it is beautiful. It was pretty empty. We then walked along the ocean (on the beach or up on a ridge on a trail) and went to Jobson's Cove. Google it. Just beautiful! We ended our day at Horseshoe Beach and got a late lunch. We had taken drinks and snacks with us plus our own snorkeling gear. It was the perfect beach and snorkeling day. We then took the bus back to the ship. You can pay just to go up the hill if you don't want to walk. Have fun! We will be there in October.

So you've been on a ship that has made the change?

Or do you just mean you like the idea of no divided ages?

I understand the no more divided ages, but I'me trying to get some insight on what it looks like and how it works.   If 3 year olds and 12 year olds are playing in one room or is there some kind of division based on activity or what

No. But do you really think a three year old and 12 year old will be interested in the same activities? Not a chance. And they would probably not allow it unless they are related. I think 12 is actually with the teens on RC anyway. But regardless, they are reconfiguring the areas and will at least allow a seven year old to play with their 10 year old sibling or 5 and and 7 year old , etc which currently is not always possible and is really silly IMO. The littles will not be in danger.
