I’ve been seeing reports on social media that this is happening.  Just happened to me, and when I tried to reset, my app would lock up when I entered the new password.

In case this happens to anyone else, I found that going into the site via browser instead of app worked best.  I was able to change password and the website didn’t lock up, like my app.  I was then able to log into the app.

My Celebrity account had same issue.  Same resolution worked best. 🙂

    Gotta love RCI IT. 🙄

It did this to me this morning and I had to change my password.  I wandered over to CC and didn't see anything and assumed I was just lucky.  I was hoping my account wasn't hacked.  Didn't notice anything unusual on the account.  Then I got bogged down with work and forgot about.

  2. Allure has a couple of places onboard that might be nice.  Once is the Sun Deck on Deck 14.  It's not shown on the deck plans so very few people know about it.  It is all the way forward and overlooks the helipad.  It also has two little areas with wood floors over the bridge wings.  Depending on the port, you can have some beautiful views.  From the Deck 14 guest hallway, the entryway is all the way forward.  There is a button to press for the sliding glass door.  You can search YT videos for secret deck or sun deck to get an idea.

Another cute place, although a bit small, are the secret balconies overlooking Central Park on Deck 9.  They are by the aft elevators on Deck 9 and have a small table and a couple of chairs.

Are all the Crown Loft Suites basically the same or are some "better" than others in terms of the room and/or location (on Oasis)? From the deck plans it seems like the ones facing the back don't have a water view like the ones on both sides. Any other differences?

It depends on if you like to people watch or prefer ocean facing.  I'm in the ocean facing camp because I enjoy sitting on my balcony while sailing or in port and listening/watching the ocean.  Others who enjoy people watching, the activities on the sport court and golf court provide entertainment.

The rooms are basically the same, but the balcony sizing can differ.  Suites 1702 and 1756 have smaller balconies.  The Aft facing cabins, I think the balconies are actually deeper than the ocean facing, except for the two ends on either side.  But, those two end cabins also have a slight view of the aft wake, which is always nice to watch.

The CLS are great rooms with a huge hallway, very little foot traffic, and an easy walk to the Suite Lounge, Coast Kitchen, and down one flight to Wind Jammer.  But it is more remote to the rest of the ship.  I like the quiet ☺️

    Oh, I knew that.

I just mis-read TeeRick's post thinking that mixed drinks were also available from 11 to 11PM.

Sometimes they are.  I seem to remember the drinks being offered last year on Oasis in Jan and Mar when we sailed.  The welcome letter in your suite will provide hours and you can always ask the Suite Concierges.  ☺️

?  Mixed drinks, too?  Like what?

The have a fairly good selection of vodka, rum, tequila, gin, scotch, and whiskey.  So, the usual type of mixed drinks, rum and coke, sunrises, scotch and soda, etc, are normally included.  The SL Bar staff is very nice and they will let you know what they are able to do.

We have also had #21 (on the other side of the pool area) which is nice if you want to be further from the pool. There is also a bathroom close by.

Is 21 as nicely shaded as 23 or 24?  I really like the shade on those two.  But, the morning sun can be pretty bright.

    Owen found a duck.

As an anti-quacker, someone who doesn’t like the duck thing, if you are going to hide them please take the time to fill out the info.  It would make it more interesting for those who find them

We are on Allure the last full week of April.  My son is trying to find a theme on the ducks to hide.  I don't know if he will be able to find them.  If so, we'll see if in anyone on CC finds his contributions.  ☺️

I’m in the unpopular opinion here: We love the Bionic bar. Especially as a stop before dinner for a drink. She has her secrets…🍹🍸IYKYK. And for those looking for the human connection, I always tip the staff that is usually there to keep it clean and ensure it runs smoothly. 😉

My kids are the same.  Last year on Oasis with my Son, DIL and GD they absolutely loved Bionic Bar.  I think they went multiple times a day having fun creating and experimenting. ☺️

  9. I assume the 2BR ATS on Wonder is still a Star Class Suite.  You will be contacted by your Genie a week to four weeks prior to your cruise.  At that time, you will work with your Genie to schedule your dining and show reservations.  The Genie will also coordinate the time for your family to meet at the terminal for boarding.  There will be special porters for your luggage and then app communication with the Genie to board.

  10. Many thanks to everyone who posted and commented during your time on board.  I know how time consuming it is and it is very much appreciated!!  Like others I had little interest in Icon (DH has always wanted to sail).  But, now that it appears there are areas that are more quiet, I would enjoy that.  And, the interior of the ship for the most part looks spectacular.

Congratulations, Toby, for being the first Best of the Best!  @Ourusualbeach you must be very proud 🥰

Thanks again everyone, this has been a fantastic live thread!  ☺️

I am hoping for a fireworks show at some point. Thought it would be as we were leaving Coco Cay.

I have heard from my rep that there will be one at CocoCay for us

Some pics from the one last night.  I think that was a Celebrity ship further out, they probably had a nice view as well.

    rarely see Friends of Dorothy

Aren't those the LGBTQ+ events planned throughout the cruise?  I always see quite a few in the Compass.

The meetings I attended on Explorer and Liberty were open to all 12 step programs

I guess what I meant by closed is only allowed to be attended by those in a program, not the friends and family members.  When my loved-one was going through the program, there were meetings where we were allowed to attend and others that were closed to only those in recovery / after-care.

  13. As someone who watched and lost a loved-one struggle with alcohol addiction, I'm glad these meetings are offered and don't care if they are not well attended.  Struggles are not organized, planned or convenient.  As @Markmom18 said, you only need two. @LAKaye  I'm glad you are proactive in making sure meeting notices and changes are well published.

Are these meetings generally closed meetings?

Is Stephen sailing with you on that cruise ?

Next week is just me, first time solo.  I have had a horrendous several months at work and this is my get-away weekend to relax, watch the ocean, and go to the spa.  😄  Stephen will be with me next April also on Allure again out of PC.  First time in Star Class, should be fun!
