Fortunately for us, we live in NC and will just drive to the port. I trust Carnival to cut the cost if they change it from an 8 day to a 7 day. I just want to sail so badly !!
-
I wonder if we are on the same cruise! We are booked for an eight day on the Breeze out of Port Canaveral on Feb. 13. I just booked it, because our Dec. cruises got cancelled. I hope nothing happens to this one !
-
Thank you everyone for your help. Once you explained it, it seems so obvious I don’t know why I didn’t get it at first. Thanks again.

I have just had another two cruises cancelled and I always see the FCC offered. I think it means future cruise credit, but what does that mean ? When I rebooked there wasn’t any discount on my new cruise. I did get the $300 on board credit, but can someone explain the FCC, please ?

I am booked on a Dec. 5 cruise out of Port Canaveral and I haven’t received any notice of cancellation yet. I expect it, but it has to happened yet.

Brianna, I am so happy to have found one of your old reviews ! You did great reviews and I miss reading them. Have you taken any recent cruises ( before COVID) ? I hope you do and I hope you write more reviews. Thanks for all you did.
-
Yeah !! Found another of your reviews to reread ! They do help to make the time go faster and help me to remember what cruising is like !! Thanks so much !

I just paid off my b2b out of Port Canaveral leaving Dec. 5. Somehow, I doubt we will be on that ship. Boooo !
-
Thank you ! Let’s hope we are all sailing again soon !!!

Are the pools at the Amber Cove heated ? Was the water warmer or cooler than the ocean water ? Also, is there another way to get to the sky bar other than all those stirs ?
-
Lobe rereading your reviews ! The time is getting closer to when we will be able to sail again.
-
Jeff, thank you again for doing this review ! I have just finished rereading it to help pass the time as we wait for cruising to begin again. As I read your review and looked again at your pictures, it made me believe that we will sail again ! My husband and I are booked for a b2b three and four day cruise in Dec. 2020 out of PC. I only hope it will sail ! When is your next cruise scheduled ? You do a fantastic job !

Thanks again, Jeff for doing this review. I have just reread it and enjoyed it again. It is a way to cruise vicariously during this time of no cruises. I have retired now, after 47 years of teaching and want to do this itinerary soon. Meanwhile we are still booked for a cruise in December out of Port C. Hopefully, we will be sailing then ! Best. Wishes to you and Patti !

Thanks so much for doing this review ! I was curious to see your take on RC. I understand that the OOTS is a new ship and it looks amazing. My husband and I are loyal Carnival cruisers, but one time we went with some friends on the Freedom OTS . We had an I side room that looked out over the middle of the ship so we could watch parades and things from our room. On Carnival we always get a balcony cabin, but on RC we paid more for an inside cabin that we did for a balcony on Carnival. Also, our room had s9me wallpaper torn and they had used duck tape to adhere a throw rug to the main carpet and it left a sticky residue. All in all, we felt we got more for our money on Carnival, but this Oasis you were on sounds different. Interesting.

So glad to run across one of your old reviews ! You take such phenomenal photos, even if photo bucket has put a band across each one. I am enjoying rereading this during the COVID time when we can’t actually be on a cruise ship. I hope tour health has improved.
-
So very glad to come across this old review ! I always loved your reviews, Mickey, and to reread them during this time of the virus when we can’t actually go on a cruise is a blessing !
-
Were you able to go to Iceland ? Due to the COVID situation, my cruise to Greenland and Iceland was cancelled. Carnival says perhaps they will do the same itinerary in 2022. Hopefully, I will be able to do that one.
-
We were also booked on that Legend cruise !! I was so excited about it and so disappointed when it was cancelled. I had been planning for it for a year ! I was also booked on the Mardi Gras ‘s first cruise and then b2b on her TA crossing. Both of those were cancelled , too. It is frustrating !

Cruisin USA,
I really enjoyed your review. I looked in your expanded signature to see another review and a few say posted not on cc. Where did you post those reviews,I would like to read them, also.
-
Wrigley80,
I have thought much about you and your reviews. I enjoyed them so much and I hope you are still cruising ( at least before this COVID shutdown) . I can’t even imagine how much time they took. I do hope to see or hear you again on cc.
-
Hello, I am enjoying reading your review ! I have read a couple of others and enjoy them, too. You put a lot of work into these and I really appreciate it. I was wondering , in your list of cruise reviews, some say not posted on cc. Where could I find them ? You give such great information about the ships. Also, I love your positive attitude !! Thanks.

Hi, Froufie
thank you so much for this review ! I am going back through old reviews to keep me encouraged while we are locked in due to the corona virus. Have you done any recent cruises or reviews ? I enjoyed reading yours and would like to read more.
-
I am new to your reviews, and am enjoying your take on the Breeze. We have sailed on it and loved it. Thanks for taking the time to do this review!

One more thing, since you have sailed on many different Carnival ships, which one do you prefer ? We have done the Magic and the Dream, but not the Vista. We have never sailed out of Miami, because , living in NC , it is too far of a drive and we have been too cheap to fly. Maybe we need to rethink the flying thing.

We also are planning on booking the Pride, but I wondered if it has been renovated recently. Does anyone know ?
