What I am trying to figure out is if we can go to guest services when we board and purchase them for our nephew and his wife who will not be staying in the Haven. We will also be paying for them if that makes a difference. I know for the run for the Vibe passes, you got a number then you purchased it on your own timeline.
It’s been a few years since we have been on the Gem, so procedures may have changed, but when we purchased them my husband had to wait for me. They would not sell him 2 passes until I got to the desk. They may make your family be present.

Some ship stewards have recently reported having only decaf, so I bought and took my own disc pods on last cruise. On recent cruises where regular coffee was available, pods were packed so tightly that water barely changed color. At least that was my experience.
Do you happen to remember which disc pods you brought? I’ve looked at several and I’m not sure which ones fit.

Do the Hawaiian cruises on POA stay in view of land?

I just requested an amenity statement from NCL and it is listed on there for both passenger 1 & 2

You can call NCL and make your reservations if it is not resolved by your booking date.
Thank you! I had actually forgotten that option.

Thank you for the excellent review. It made me even more excited for our turn in May.
Safe travels home!

Ok I don't actually like this but I am sooooo relieved this is happening to someone else too 🥰 Perhaps they are then having a wider problem on the logging in etc. I guess we cannot do more than wait. Just kind of a spooky thing to think what if the cruise was just about to start or we would be exactly 21 days out and couldn't do any check in or other stuff.
I was thinking the same thing. I will be making my dining reservations this week and I am hoping the issues are fixed by then

Yes! It started yesterday afternoon and ongoing today. Last night I could log in, but it would randomly log me back out. Today, it doesn’t recognize my email address/password.

I’m so sorry to hear your dad is sick. Hopefully he’s on the mend soon. My mother is the same way about water, only she thinks coffee is an appropriate substitute.

Anyone else chuckling at the dueling reviews?
It does make me wonder who’s review it actually is… seems like the second is stepping on the toes of the first.
I was also thinking how different passengers have different points of view on the same cruise.- 8

I was reviewing this thread today... was wondering if they fixed your problem? How long did it take?
Crazy!!

We had to contact State Department, and send them photos of the passports because they also said it wasn’t possible for them to make that mistake.
End result, we had to overnight the misprinted passports with new photos and they overnighted them back once they corrected them. It took about a week total.

3193 days 😳
But, hopefully making up for it starting in 2023
Had a son in college and also elder care issues

Thank you for doing this live. I have just finished reading your past two reviews in anticipation of our upcoming Getaway cruise.
This is our first cruise where we are NOT in the Haven, unfortunately. I’m sure it will be a completely different experience than the last 3 we have been on.

Thank you for sharing! We are using NCL air in May, and some reports are concerning

Um, have I had one too many cocktails tonight or is that photo either backwards or in Russian?
Glad it’s not just me.. I actually enlarged it to make sure. 🤣🤣

I would ask on the roll call for your cruise, which can be found here:

Just common sense alone makes your point. Some low level crew - thankful as all hell for the job - is gonna steal CC numbers that will be useless as soon as they are reported stolen.
It’s easier for the OP to blame the hard working crew than to take responsibility for their carelessness. If the wallet had been placed in the safe, who would the OP blame?

Yes there are a few. The ones closer to the port that some people recommend aren't really in walking distance (IMO) simply because of the highway roads there and no sidewalks. But we went to a little Italian place that was like 10 minutes from there. We actually walked about a mile down the road (heading south has sidewalks), and there's a few places along there, but not a ton. We never have a car either.
Thank you!

This time we stayed at Country Inn & Suites and we liked it better. It's a newer hotel and our rate included a decent breakfast (toast, bagels, waffles, fruit, cereal, etc...). The shuttle to the port was $7/person and broken down by the ships we were on. That was nice! In the past, with Radisson, it was just loading everyone on and then stopping at various terminals.
We are looking to book at Country Inn & Suites, but wondered if there were restaurants within walking distance. We are flying in day before our cruise and will not have a car

While plumber was in the cabin, presumably working in the bathroom, a passenger could have stepped in undetected, as well. Same with cabin steward.
I was thinking the same. Also, when rooms are being serviced the doors are propped open. Any passenger could have walked in at that time

The $2.00 bill saga.

Have you ever actually asked a staff member which they would prefer? (2 $1 bills or 1 $2 bill) I think that’s what matters
