Thanks to all for the excellent advice. I will call both airlines.

Do you have status with AA?
Yes, I am lifetime gold.

Which airline(s)?
AA outbound. Qantas and AA inbound. The Qantas flight “might” be an AA codeshare. I’m not sure.

For business class you should be able to book right away. For the coach seats it depends on the airline. Some you can pay to book early, but more and more, if you want to book a coach seat for free, you have to wait for 24 hours before flight.
Do I call the airline directly or is there any way to do it online?

I am new to E-Z air but have booked flights for a cruise beginning September 24, 2022. I plan to return on October 22nd.
Do you know when I can select our seats?
The outbound flight is is coach and the return flight is in business from SYD-LAX and first from LAX-MCO.

Thank you!!! Did that this morning and was able to book for 7:30 on what I figure to be the first formal night. No way I would have figured out that's how you do it if you hadn't told me - so again - thanks!!!
When is the first formal night?

I wonder if there is any way to have the cost of the specialty restaurant deducted from OBC rather than charged to my credit card. Anyone know?

Ahhh! On closer inspection of that app, it not seems that I can make MDR AND specialty dining reservation right now. Thank you.

I am overwhelmed with the number of posts about dine my way. We have a 25-day cruise beginning September 24th and would like to have a few specialty restaurant reservations lined up before boarding. Does anyone know when and how I can do this

When can I book specialty restaurants pre-cruise?

Can you not spend the night in a hotel near SFB instead? Your arrival time plus transportation time makes it terribly late.

Hyatt Place (17st & Convention Center). Book through www.value trips.com for a nice discount. https://www.valuetrips.com/AMS/FL/F17.htm

I’m surprised that no one has suggested a frozen margarita. For something more exotic, try a pisco sour (if the bartender even has some pisco). 🍸

EZ Air not working for me again. Tried to modify price and error message came up again. Called Princess and two different reps said they are instructed not to connect me to EZ Air because they are swamped with cancellations and changes because of the weather. Suggested I email customer service with a copy of today's lower price, which I did. I guess there are no guarantees.
Same here. I was able to book our return flight but not the departure flight. EZ Air won’t allow me to book that second flight.

I am especially interested in places off the beaten path like Petropavlovsk (where we visited in 2017) or Vladivostok. Have also visited St. Petersburg by land many years ago.

Does anyone know of cruise lines that visit Russian ports predominantly?

It’s a good thing that I have an honest face. 😀

The true test is lobster night!
In the past, many servers would work with you to get another serving of lobster.

Shuttles charge per person.
Uber charges once per ride regardless of how many people ride.
-
Due to the distance, there are no complimentary hotel shuttles to the port.
In addition to the Embassy Suites, there are numerous good hotels near MCO. https://travel.usnews.com/Hotels/Orlando_Walt_Disney_World_FL/n-orlando-international-airport-mco/

We are sailing on the 20th on the mariner. One person in our party is flying to Orlando the morning of the 20th. How will they get to the port?
That is a risk I would not want to take!

Vic, so very nice to see you here, away from TripAdvisor.
Foodland Lahaina (HI's version of Publix) is easily walkable from the tender landing and will have a better selection of Lion and other Hawaiian coffee brands (Kauai Coffee Co is my favorite). They also have a great selection of poke. I took about 4 pounds of it back to the ship my last cruise.
Also in the same center as Foodland is Nagasako Okazu-ya Deli, one of my favorite local hole-in-the-walls for food.
Many thanks Scott. You get around too. 😀

Problem solved!!!
I went to the EZ Air web page and was able to select seats for ALL flights.
Again, thanks to all who offered suggestions.
