We are cruising out of Yokohama. The ship leaves Yokohama at 6 PM. We want to spend several days in Tokyo pre cruise.
Three questions
1) Any suggestions as to good reasonably priced hotels.
2) Any suggestions as to good transfer transfer company?
3) Most important, what time should we leave Tokyo so that we get to Yokohama at 3:00 PM?
Thanks
DON
Don,
Are you possibly retired US military (with an ID card). If so, the best hotel deal, hands down, is the New Sanno Hotel.

Google maps suggests that it's only a 75 hour walk. Relatively flat and probably scenic.
A 75 hour walk?

I thInk you could make it, but how are you getting from the port to the airport?

I've seen busses (MegaBus and Greyhound) on the toll road between Miami and Orlando -check them out.
You don't want Greyhound. It's a Petri dish of humanity. Red Coach is a much better option.

Seems to depend upon the port. Some will allow it others will direct you to the dreaded collection table
Then just walk on past it.

The National Park Service also ran guided tours into the National Park. Sign up on the dock. The tours fill quickly.
Can you please elaborate on this? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

JAPAN ON CELEBRITY MILLENNIUM
Join us on this cruise to Japan, South Korea and China on the beautiful Millennium.
It certainly ranks among the top three of our cruises. Ultramodern cities, 1000 year old temples - what a mix...
Sit back, relax, click on the link and travel to beautiful Japan with us:
We visited Japan last year on the Celebrity Millennium (our first cruise with Celebrity) and frankly were disappointed. The ship is old and looks tired. There was no coin operated laundry ($$$$). On a 2 week cruise, they ran out of shrimp, hot dogs and iced tea. Perhaps other items as well. If this ship is representative of Celebrity, we’ll gladly stick with Princess.

Use a taxi or Uber
Any idea of the approximate cost of an Uber ride?

If not taking the train, what other affordable options are there to travel between Perth & Freemantle? (I have a mobility impairment and my DW would have trouble schlepping all of our luggage around.)

You can go on an airboat ride at Twister Airboat Rides http://www.twisterairboatrides.com/index.html ...and have lunch at the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp http://www.twisterairboatrides.com/fishcamp.html
When finished, continue driving west on SR 520 until it merges with SR 528. Continue on until you get to the airport.

Locals get annoyed when folks make up new names for their city.
It’s like calling California “Cali”. Don’t do it. ☹️

I agree. We brought chocolate alligators from Florida and teas & a salmon dip mix from Alaska.

Any idea when the schedule for 1-week Caribbean cruises for August, September & October 2019 will be released?

Link up with the roll call for this cruise. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2502077
There is much relevant and interesting information there.
(DW and I are also on this cruise)

I have used Enterprise before with no problems. They pick you up at the port and drive you to their San Pedro office to get the car.

Oops. Sorry for the double post.

The hot chocolate is free in the International Cafe with a coffee card. $20 is a good deal for one. I would get it at that price.

Tara Jane nailed it! We used Goodwill Guides in Tokyo and Hakodate and brought each person some edibles from the U.S. We had chocolate alligators from Florida, herbal teas from Alaska and a salmon dip mix, also from Alaska. Our traveling companions from Malaysia gave small pewter plates from their country. All gifts were modestly but attractively wrapped and presented at the end of each tour.
Extra days in Orlando, best options to and from port of Canaveral?

I suspect that two, 1-way car rentals would be your best bet.
