  1. Lucy... a hotspot, WiFi stick or MiFi router still need a signal source to relay from and to, cellular or Internet WiFi data >>> so, it won't work. At land-based hotels with a faster inTERnet signal, I can sometimes run a double bridged routers to get around some restrictions, but likely won't do any good on NCL ships. For our own pre-recorded videos, I can probably stream it or plug in a HDMI cable directly. No streaming, it looked to me, no matter what as too much bandwidth are hogged.

    thanks M! didn't think so, but u never know!

  2. well this is going to annoy a lot of people,, myself included.. a couple in my party called ncl trying to add another person to their party. they asked if they should bid for a larger cabin... person told them it couldn't hurt, but it still may be too late to add another person since sailaway is less than 2 weeks away. so they put in a 50$ pp bid for a mini suite from an ov..... they got an email 2 hours later 2 HOURS LATER!! that their bid was accepted.. true story. good for them.. stinks for the rest of us.. and they claim the bids go in a que..i don't think so.

  3. Hopefully you get the spa mini, which would be awesome!!! I noticed today that the category is selling out. Good Luck and hope you win your bid!

thank you! i will enjoy this cruise no matter what.. but the spa.. we'll see!! this will also be my first cruise on the Breakaway.. my first 2 cruises were on Carnival... lots of fun there on the megaships!

  4. Thank you for talking me off of the ledge!!! We once stayed in an aft balcony on RC's Brilliance of the Seas and it was horrible, between the shoot and the constant vibration I thought I would lose my mind! We don't spend a lot of time in our room and my DH ( previously a sailor in the US Navy) seems to think that with the size of the ship we will be fine. I am super excited about this cruise and don't believe one silly post about some vibration will make a difference!!!

you're welcome! 2 more weeks and i'll be cruising up good vibrations out of NYC!! lol.. just playin' :D so far i'm forward in a bc balcony but i had to bid on a mini suite.. i just love the game!

  5. Except you are the only one who looks at it this way

well maybe he has a point. when filling out my edocs, there was a section on there about the 'daily service charge'funds being put in a welfare pool for employees to help pay for programs for them.. what on earth is that all about?

  6. Agree.

You will lose a day and a half there and back. But so worth it not to deal with airports.

it's so convenient to leave from NYC or Bayonne! i don't mind the cooler days either,, i just bought a windbreaker to wear on deck ... i love the wind in my face.. i guess that's from loving to ride motorcycles!

As for spring break... well my first cruise was out of NY in August,, lots of kids,, but it didn't bother me at all! don't sweat the small stuff:D
