  1. I had this same issue a couple months ago. Couldn't buy any gift cards, no matter what I did or how many credit cards I used. I contacted them through chat, they asked all the usual questions, and eventually told me they would send my complaint to their "elevated team". After a week, they emailed me and said they fixed the issue. The email said if I had any issues, to contact them: "If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reply to this email (consumercare@aarp.org) or telephone a member of the Consumer Care Ombudsman team at (877) 634-8313." But I haven't had any issues since.
  2. Did anyone know that gift card links expire? Because I didn't! 😭 I bought a gift card in June, it still had $140 left on it. I went to go use it to buy something for my upcoming cruise and the link is expired! Does anyone know who I can contact? How would I even try getting the card number? I feel so dumb for not saving it
  3. I just saw that allstate upped the price. I decided to take the plunge and get AARP. There's a few discounts right now, like $12 for a year, plus a few of my credit cards like Chase and BoA had deals for $8 back. But I have a question. I had a free account from a few years ago and I used that to sign up. But for some reason the rewards page still says I'm not a paid member. Does it just take time to process or should I contact AARP?
