Booked with TA - received nothing from them or Az - totally reliant on website

I do not get one if we book through an agent, I get the agents confirmation which transfers over info in their words eg the amount of on board credit  and other benefits, the cabin no, itinerary etc  I do not have an Azamara confirmation as my financial relationship is with the agency

These comments, and others like them, are the reason why we always book directly with AZ (preferably while onboard a cruise). We get our Booking Confirmation invoices & Guest Ticket Booklets directly from them (& with 2 cruisesscheduled, we have all the documents we need).

Perks offered by TAs, to us, is not worth the issues ultimately created by using a 3rd-party to book our cruises. JMHO.

I am just renewing my UK based annual travel insurance policy.  It gives me additional protections over and above a standard policy for some more "unusual" situations which is helpful and includes good cruise cover for a number of things including missed ports or changed itineraries.  It also has extra cover in relation to excursions however I was looking at the small print and it says excursions must be booked before the journey started if they are to be covered.  So waiting to book on board, perhaps then being disappointed and then contacting a local provider would have no cover.  Likewise a ships excursion in relation to negligence by the operator (a notorious grey area) is only covered if I book pre cruise.  Lets hope they fully sort the website out soon!!!!

Are we to assume you're talking about insurance NOT through Azamara? How does it compare to an AZ policy added on to a booking? Which is better? If external, what are some of the better companies recommended to obtain a travel insurance policy?

    PS - we're US based

    Thanks.

That link worked, but the response I get is 'Unable to sign in'.

Am I right in assuming that the username required is my Azamara account email address?

Yes, my login is the same on both sites (using my email address). Not sure why yours didn't work! 🤔

Not sure if using this link makes a difference (takes you directly to the login screen):

I am not very good with computers, so I took a picture with my camera.  Hope this works.  If not, I'll have to figure out how do do a screenshot off the Azamara website.  No "i" in a circle on the right side, no three horizontal lines on the top left.  Hope this is readable.

Tried with UK site - same result.  I give up!

Can you provide a screenshot of what you see when you log into azamara.com? One of us here may be able to help further - don't give up! 🤗

LOL;I’m actually booked on this cruise. It’s clearly an error. Possibly posted for the prior cruise.

Those arriving early morning to embark on 8/22 are not likely to need a tour ENDing at Marco Polo airport. 🙃

Exactly! Just like I said! 🥴

Jane Starr, you are looking at an EXCURSION that is being offered to the mall and perhaps Azamara should have used the word deplaning instead of debarkation.  I think this is being offered to give passengers something to do if they arrive early and have to wait  to board the ship.  TRANSFERS are being offered from Civitavecchia on disembarkation day to FCO at 7:30 am the morning of Sep.3.  I have purchased one.  It is $71.95.

The issue @JaneStarr has is with the date. Their cruise embarks (not debarks) in Venice on 22-Aug-2023.

My only thought is these "errors" are meant for the cruises prior to the 3 mentioned (& probably shows up as SEs under those itineraries) as pax will be debarking at those ports.

Nuts4pi - no, that's not the screen I see when I click on "Upcoming Cruises".  No three vertical marks in the left corner, no circle "i" on the right side.  Nothing.  I've even tried accessing the Azamara website with three different web browsers!!  Same screen every time.  Very frustrating.  I will have to wait until I get on the ship to sort things out.  Thanks everyone for your assistance.  I really appreciate it.

Are you logging into the US site or a different site? Try a different country site by clicking on the flag at the bottom of the home page.

Grandma Cruising, all the things you've indicated I should be able to see just aren't there on my screen.  No drop-down menu other than Hi Kathleen/Upcoming Cruises/Sign out.  Clicking on Upcoming Cruises gives me this drop-down menu:  Bookings FAQ/Communication Preferences/Sign out.  It does show my upcoming Onward cruise in December, however.  I will try the book-a-cruise method later and see if that works.  I am so appreciative of all the help I have been given on this site!  Azamara folks are the best (Princess is mostly complaining!!).

@kcl491, did you see my post above with the images (#1492)? Here is what you should click after going to Upcoming Cruises:

I opened the Azamara (.co.uk) web site for the first time since the 'transition' commenced all those weeks ago.

I thought I had been extremely fortunate, because this is what I saw. I've obscured personal stuff etc.

    Everything was correct!

THANK YOU for letting us know about this "glitch!" I was also able to log into the site (even though I'm in the US) and found ALL my history AND CORRECT TIER/POINTS! I was able to see my past cruises, including the one from March, though no points awarded as the info is coming from the Celebrity/RCCL website & that last cruise occured after the transition.

I downloaded both pages (Upcoming & Past Cruises), which I hadn't done prior to the transition, so I now have PDF documentation of what my points should be!

Grandma Cruising, I logged on using my original password - no status at top.  Reset my password - no status on top.  Sigh.  Not sure what's going on, will probably have to wait until my next cruise in December to get it sorted out.

Click on the profile icon (may be next to your name if on a computer vs. a mobile device). The following image was captured using my smartphone.

From the drop-down menu, choose Upcoming Cruises. You'll see your status in the upper-right corner. Clicking the circled "i" will show the full info. In my case, the IDN & Tier are, once again, incorrect! 😔

You can also access your Upcoming Cruises from the drop-down menu on the home page (the 3 horizontal lines on the top-left).

Seaware shows 2 accounts, one matching the Azamara site and one with the correct account but not showing points from February.

Well, at least the correct account is showing somewhere! 😏

Again, recent points (at least from December to present) have not yet been added. I think they're just trying to reconcile accounts transferred over before they add "new" points.

Submitted the form 5/25. Tier has not been corrected. 0 points. Last cruise was 2/12-28 and should bump me up a tier.

Showing that way on both sites (Azamara & SeaWare)? I ask because ours WAS correct a week ago, yesterday was back at 0 points, & today it's correct again (minus recent points, which they haven't added to anyone's account yet, from what I've heard).

  14. When did you submit your form? I'm not sure they've gotten to all of them yet as points for our 2 recent cruises haven't been added to our account. However, they at least have our account # & tier corrected on both the Azamara & SeaWare sites.

My account is correct, loyalty level, points, existing booking details, OBC, etc. I’ve been checking it since the changeover. Here’s hoping it stays like that.🤞

I wouldn't hold out hope for it staying that way!

I logged in today to see my loyalty account changed in BOTH sites (Azamara & SeaWare)! Recall that almost a week ago I reported here that both sites finally had my account # & tier corrected & most points were back (just missing points from 12/2022 & 03/2023 cruises). Now it's all just totally wrong! 😔

Hoping upon hope that they're just trying to straighten it out based upon the email I sent them this past Tuesday. Time will tell.

Anyone having trouble with the Azamara website today?  Logging in to the site is OK but no where can find the option of going into my account to view upcoming cruises or excursions.

After logging in, click on the menu link on the upper-left of the page (3 horizontal lines), then click the down arrow next to your name & choose Upcoming Cruises.

what is the URL for Seaware website? Do you use your Azamara login and password?

When you log into your Azamara account & click on "Manage my Reservation" (or book a new reservation), you are automatically taken to the SeaWare site (SeaWare is the booking system that AZ now uses). THAT is the site where the loyalty account number, points, & tier have not yet been synced with the transferred RCCL records (Celebrity CC & Azamara AC). Hence, the "placeholder" new number, etc., that is supposed to be updated by the end of June (we'll see).

You use the same login info that you use for your AZ account if you choose to go directly to the SeaWare website.

I can't address your question about Choice Air as ours is done independently (we're given no option to add it to our reservation either).

For those of you who can see their status and points on the website, have you kept the same loyalty number? I can see our future cruises, but they have assigned both my wife and me new numbers with zero points. For some reason I am at the adventurer level and my wife is at the preview level when we both should be discoverer plus.

Both the AZ & Seaware sites now have our correct AC account number, though still missing points from our 2 most recent cruises.

Up until a few days ago, the Seaware site had us with a new loyalty number, Adventurer tier with 0 points.

Both sites have our upcoming (2/2024) cruise listed correctly (we even added the land tour a few days ago & everything updated correctly).

Bottom line: we're seeing some progress! 😁

When did you ever think that Marketing had any relation to any other part of a company?  [There's an old joke about 'Military Intelligence.'  Notice that they don't even bother using Marketing and Intelligence in the same sentence...]

Ummm...marketing is related to sales, which is often generated from website traffic (along with referrals from TAs & previous customers). Current situation with the website is generating negative feedback, resulting in fewer sales. Hence, the marketing team is stepping up in hopes to get more sales.

I don't use cruise line air because I usually use points, but agree with you that it is often worthwhile to book your air with the cruise line for the reasons you mention.  I share the bankruptcy concern and have been investigating options in case that scenario unfolds.  They can't be bringing in many bookings these days, and the delay in passengers making final payments until their accurate pricing appears on their website must surely be causing a cashflow problem.  If anything on the website matched either my original invoice, OBC amount, shore excursions booked or even my loyalty points/status I would feel much better....but my previous email from Azamara Loyalty stating this would all be corrected by end of May is clearly yet another fail by the Azamara management team.  I think those prominent staffers who left for other cruise lines saw all this unfolding just as it has.  Sad.

So, I guess @Blag will be happy you're back "on topic" with more negative comments. 😏

  21. So, who else got this postcard in the mail? I guess the sales are down (surprised? NOT!) so they're trying to drum up more business. Good luck to them while their website is still a mess!

  22. Well, I've had mixed results in my online account...

    Azamara Circle (AZ website):

Correct account # & tier, but points showing is from May, 2021 (i.e., missing almost 600 points from 2 recent cruises).

    Azamara Circle (Seaware site):

New account # w/ tier set at Adventurer, zero points. Totally wrong!

    Future Cruises:

While onboard our March cruise, we booked the 2024 Rio Carnival cruise at the very last minute before the website transition. We received the email confirmation showing our deposit made & OBC awarded. This booking has shown up correctly through both the AZ & Seaware sites, albeit the OBC is not showing $$ amounts (just 2 coupons for 2 guests).

We wanted to add a post-cruise land tour. The price showing through the "Manage my Reservation" link was several hundred dollars less than looking at it as if making a new booking! So, we went ahead & added it to our reservation (done online via the Manage link) & the updated invoice is correct. However, we have not yet received an emailed confirmation copy of the updated booking.

I'm sending an email inquiry with copies of all our documentation showing what we should have, & asking them to send the updated document showing the added land tour & new price (yes, I've taken a screenshot of what it shows online). Will let you know if I get any results from my inquiry.

FYI - I'm trying 4 different emails, too! Hoping that at least one of them generates a positive response. 😏
