enjoyed the gameshow last night in explorers. nick hosted, it was a laugh. the band were good as usual. another sea day today. its nice and sunny out there this morning. its formal night tonight.

I haven't used a pool onboard for years. I have a pool at home.

when I was on it. I asked and they said adults only. non paying adults were allowed. it must have changed since then. my friend went in it every day without paying.

the sanctuary pool on coral is for general use, just adults only. you don't have to be using the sanctuary to use it

just back from the most traveled guests lunch. we were on a table of 4. nice people. scallops were good. don't know why the obsession with carrots though (they looked silly and didn't compliment the scallops at all). short rib was very tasty and tender. the Panna cotta with lychee and raspberry granite was heavenly, they poured a shot of lychee liquor over it. mmm mmm. petit fours were chocolate dipped strawberries, macarons and chocolates. of course there was bread, wine/beer and coffee/tea great lunch all up

I would prefer to over pack. I think one jumper and jacket for new Zealand is not enough

today is the first of 3 straight sea days. its a bit foggy outside. hopefully the weather clears up for all the sun bunnies. I hate it when it gets too crowded inside. seas are pretty smooth

today's breakfast special. I would have had the Mexican dish, but I'm saving space so that I actually feel hungry at lunch time. its the repeat offenders lunch in crown grill today. so I only had a pot of tea

perth should be nice and hot. I'm going around new Zealand now, 2nd time this month. it has mainly been cold in New Zealand, occasional warm day. Melbourne was very cold earlier this month with one warm day of 31 degrees and plenty of cold days in early 20s.

I love the library on coral. great chairs and view. the pool, especially the inside one are really dated/scruffy. there are public decks aft that are huge and quiet. the casino is miniature. the other show with the guest opera singer (although I'm not an opera fan) is a good show too.

here is the events listing. it gives the information about the shuttle. elite people just go to the wheelhouse and don't have to queue up.
