Thank you, Jim for another great cruise review. So much more than a review, really. Appreciate all your insight and observations.

I will be on the Pursuit next week for the Iceland intensive cruise. Suddenly occurs to me that I don't know what currency to use for incidental tipping on board. You know, a couple bucks to the bartender or something for the room steward at the end of the cruise. Can staff use US dollars? Do they need Euros? Do they have a preference? Any advice appreciated.

I will be on the Pursuit next week for the Iceland intensive cruise. Have a Samsung Galaxy 22. Have searched the Play Store for the Azamara app. Every other cruise line app comes up but nothing for Azamara. Is there an app available for Android and if so how do I access it? Thx. Marilyh

PCR question. If I am tested on Thursday and sail on Sunday, is that 3 days before embarkation? (Thurs., Fri., Sat.) Or would the test need to be on Friday? (Fri., Sat., Sun.)
Could do an antigen test on Saturday but for personal reasons would rather be done with it on Thursday, if possible. Thanks for any insight.

What time, on average, are you expected to be off the ship on the last day of the cruise?

One more dress code question. Are neat, clean, unripped jeans acceptable in the dining room and specialty restaurants? I found this to be true on previous Alaskan cruises and our upcoming Azamara cruise is Iceland so I wondered if the dress code would be similar. Thx for your help. Marilyn

Following with interest as on this coming Sunday's sailing. First cruise in several years!

Had exactly the same problem. Can reach the registration to order the tags and can complete everything except the country field. Will try again tomorrow.

Don't know why or how, just that is what the Azamara rep told me but it all worked out.

So I just could not see my OBC in Voyage Planner and I knew I had seen it in the past. I called Azamara customer service. Did not have to wait too long to talk to someone. She said that if you want to use your OBC to pre-book an excursion that you would need to call and have them do it. Seems the ability to see it and use it online was part of some proprietary software they lost with the break out from RCL. She said they are working on it. Happy ending however. I told her I had booked the excursions using my credit card and that they came to 600 and some dollars. I knew I had $200 OBC. She offered to apply it and then I would get that amount refunded to my credit card. I said "go ahead". Well then she says, "It looks like the price of your cruise has gone down". She does some calculations, calls my travel agent, comes back on and says my cruise is now $1500 less and I have $700 in OBC! Yipee! So excursions booked and credit card to be fully refunded. Thanks for your help everyone!

At this point it seems like the backup plan is only available if you are willing to pay considerably out of pocket. I will keep searching as my cruise is not till 11/28 and if I find something more reasonably I will be sure to post about it.

Our local CVS stores in Pinellas County Fl show that some do rapid antigen tests but when you try to book they universally say "no times available". Frustrating. Lots of urgent care centers doing the rapid antigen test but are charging from $125 to $200 dollars! Even with insurance!

New Azamara cruiser here. Doing the 9 night Iceland intensive Aug. 7 2022. Want to pre-book some excursions. Have plenty of OBC from TA and understand I can't use that before the cruise. Have $200 "signature" OBC from Azamara and want to use that towards my pre-booked shore excursions but I don't see a way to do that. Help!

OMG what fun! Train ride to the cruise ship! Love your attitude and cats. Many years ago when living in Chicago, took the train to Florida. It is something like two nights and a day and basically goes straight to the east coast then south to FLA. We must have hit at least 3 things on that trip and I am convinced that it is a daily ritual for Amtrak.
Looking forward to the rest of your review. Enjoy your cruise! Hope you love Celebrity as much as I do. Marilyn

I know there are shortages of many liquors. Have not been able to buy a bottle of Green Chartreuse for 6 months. But Grand Marnier is NOT in short supply. Very available in the states. I would be very, very disturbed if it was not available on a cruise and even more disturbed if it was implied it was used when it was not. I am shocked.
