So I have two questions. We are booked for Alaska and I know in general those cruises are slightly more casual. First, on the formal nights it suggests that you wear your formal attire the remainder of the evening. If we want to relax on the deck and watch the scenery after dinner are we seriously expected to do so in formal attire? Second, what is the view on dress jeans and a nice button down shirt on non formal nights? Thank you.

Any recommendations on which ship is better for Alaska? Same itinerary two weeks apart. Thoughts or suggestions would be great! Thanks!!!

If going to Hawaii again for the 1st time would you choose to take this cruise or would you do a land vacation? My DH and I are on opposite sides of this coin and I would appreciate your opions. Thanks!

I have a question regarding your trip to Victoria. Was that a day trip or overnight? And if it was a day trip was it too much for one day?

You all take such wonderful pictures and I can't even decide on a camera! I am looking for excellent pictures that is fast with a good zoom. Price is not an issue but portability is. I want something I can carry with me w/o too much effort. Please help!!

Does anyone know if we can visit both on the same night? Just curious because there are often 1 or 2 items on the MDR menu we want to try (mostly desserts). So we were thinking after dinner we could head to the MDR for dessert. Thanks!
