As of the second week of December, just standard production shows with one exception; a magic show. All were poor at best, and several were walkout bad. The magic show was so bad I kept wondering when the real show was going to start.
The singers were fair, but when they sang together, their combination was poor to be kind. Many times it was even difficult to tell what language that they were singing in; seemed to be a poor mix of several.
Last December we were on the Seaside and thought that all the shows were great. What a let down on the Meraviglia. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the cruise.
Interesting. We were on the Dec. 8 sailing and thought all the entertainment was exceptional except the magician.

The snow room was awesome on the Seaside!

We did self disembarkation around 7:45 to 7:50 a.m. and literally walked off the ship by ourselves. One of the best disembarkations we have ever experienced.

You just need to book onboard. Enjoy!

Went through the process but actually did not finalize the order. It was very cool. You go to a little pad/kiosk and start with a base chocolate bar then you can add various mix ins like nuts or fruits etc. I remember there dried strawberries were an option as well as dried blueberries and assortment of nuts, coconut etc. I had selected two or three toppings/mix ins and the cost was going to be around $7.95 USD. You could personalize. I thought about doing these as Christmas and birthday gifts.

Not valid anymore.

Loved all the entertainment on the Mera last month except the magician.

The Sky Lounge is beautiful. Think this could be a good alternative for you.

All of my Bella balconies have been guarantees but have been happy with all assigned.

I never attempted to get any soft serve as thought there was a charge for all of the ice cream. Pooh.

Just an FYI - a Global Entry lane is marked (by a sign) in the MSC terminal but this past Sunday the lane wasn't open. We were directed to stand in a regular lane. The line was long but moving. When we got to the immigration officer, he apologized for the GE line not being open but gave no explanation (staffing issues I would guess).
I have only seen the Miami Global Entry lane open one time in the seven years.

In early December on MERAVIGLIA we docked in Mahogany Bay. I've attached a link to pics from the cruise that include Mahogany Bay.
Speaking to the staff there (which yes it's a Carnival Corp. development), they told us they only found out that morning that MERAVIGLIA would be docking there. Apparently work on the pier that MERAVIGLIA normally docks at could only handle one ship that day (SYMPHONY OF THE SEAS) so we got lucky.
I absolutely LOVED Mahogany Bay and I'm so glad we docked there. It was a wonderful day and is by far one of the best cruise line developed ports I've been to. Night and day from Costa Maya. The beach was awesome, there was shopping, plus restaurants and even a chair lift to the beach (you can walk - small fee for the chair lift). We did the chair lift one-way just for the view. Also it was huge so totally uncrowded.
I would certainly book another cruise that stopped at Mahogany Bay.

eroller, we were there at the same time as you. Loved docking at Mahogany Bay. I would be very disappointed if I cannot get back there. It was a great day!

UPDATE: We got allocated today, 3 balcony staterooms all connecting, so yay! They did what they said they would do! Which in this day and age is a nice change 😂🙂
Glad it worked out!

The +5, +10, +15 additional discounts are capacity controlled. I just went through this with a family who booked two cabins - only one got the discount.

No drinks can be brought onboard.

You do not need the wifi package in order to communicate via text via the app.
We did not purchase any wifi package and were able to text with our friends on the Seaside in October as well as the Meraviglia in December. It worked much better on the Seaside.

No tissues even after asking on Meraviglia in Kaye November. No issues with toilet paper. In fact we got an extra roll to replace the lack of tissues.
Had to laugh because we did the same thing! Sailed on the Meraviglia on Dec. 8.

Update: I called today even though it is the weekend and didn't think i'd get far, but i'm so glad I did! Spoke to Tom who simply submitted it to the support team, who fixed it in abot 15 minutes, and I *think* there's extra on board credit added too! WHYYYYYYY couldn't the reps yesterday just do that???
Crazy 🙂
Glad it all got worked out!

I find it very strange that the OC Island Tea costs only USD 6.
Would take one even I would have no drinks package and usually don´t drink cocktails 😄
Best value! I had several and they were very good.

But once matched Diamond Plus to Black/Diamond, you keep that as long as you cruise once every three years, right?
yes, you need to cruise at least once every three years.

It has been more than two years since we used our free passes for the Thermal Spa but it was so crowded, we left after a few minutes.
-
If you buy ahead of time or on the ship, the cost is $12.99. If you wait until you get to OC, the price is $14.99 due to the Bahamian tax.

20 days prior. If you booked through a travel agent, they will be advised when they are ready.
No more Michael Jackson show????

No.
We have cruised on MSC four times, most recently on the Seaside in October and the Mera on Dec. 8. Have cruised all the lines and have 85 cruises overall.
