Yes.  The Celebrity website and post #3 answers your question.  Also do a search for internet and you can see multiple questions on exactly that.

Since you posted your reply, I have been looking and two hours later, I am still not finding what I need to know. I know how to get the 90 free minutes. I am trying to book the discounted Wifi package before cruising and also applying the 30 percent off for being Elite. When the package is in the cart and I am trying to check out, I am not getting the additional discount. How do you get both discounts to appear? Does it have to be called in?

  2. Question: Can the Elite internet discount be combined with the discounted internet packages bought ahead of time?

This line from the T & C's seems that they could be combined.

    Wi-Fi

Discount applied to the total price of the Wi-Fi package or upgrade purchased. Combinable with the pre-cruise advantage only.

We’re currently on the Silhouette and have had the worst experience of all the cruises we’ve been on. Yesterday, while getting ready for dinner, my husband was in the bathroom when he heard the toilet making a terrible rumbling sound. He looked to see what was happening, you know how small the bathrooms are? When he did his face and shirt got sprayed with black sewage.it was literally everywhere.

Black sewage/chemicals/feces was all over the bathroom and him. He’s trying to wash it out of his eyes/face, I call and they say they’re having a sewage problem, which doesn’t help me. I open the door and find our attendant. He says there’s been a line break. Another lady shows up and I tell her what happened, panicking. I tell them he needs an eye wash etc because there’s obviously bacteria and disease. All the time their acting like it’s no big deal.

I called home and talked to someone what to do. They said to have them do an eye wash, give oral antibiotics and go to his dr when he gets back. We go to the medical center, he’s panicking, they hook him up to oxygen and do the eye wash. The put little plastic suction like cups on your eyes and wash them with a bag of solution.

Long story semi short, it was handled terrible. I was promised a medical report from a dr this morning. They called and said it will be today or tomorrow. I went to guest relations, and spoke with Abraham, There were several people there complaining because their toilets had been not working since 2pm. He talked to me like I was just some dumb woman and ended up walking off from me. There was another lady listening and she tried to help me and he walked off from her too. And the worst part, not one person told my husband they were sorry this happened.

I’m not asking for compensation, and it surely wasn’t offered, I just want the documentation of what happened so I can take it to his dr when we get home because he’ll need it for future blood work etc when we get home to make sure he didn’t contract something.

Do not go on this ship. If something happened they don’t care.

    What room were you in?

  4. Found this just now from another thread. As I mentioned yesterday, the terminology is downline.

The official terminology is called "downline".

Before the pandemic, cruise lines may allow you to do so. You need to make the downline request in advance (prior to departure) and complete some paperwork. Cruise lines may charge a fee (for example, Royal Caribbean / Celebrity Cruises was USD 65 per person).

After the pandemic, some cruise lines no longer approve downline, even if you are willing to pay for a fee.

Here is the reply from NCL previously:

Approval to embark or disembark mid-cruise may be allowed ONLY in cases of emergencies, for example:

    1.     Guests miss the ship and wished to embark in the next port of call.

    2.     Once onboard, a guest becomes ill or has a family emergency and needs to disembark the vessel.

No refunds or adjustments will be made for unused portions of a cruise. If any of our guests for any reason wish to not conclude their cruise, they may address this onboard.

With valid reason(s), you may embark or disembark at ports of call other than original ones. Please note that you MUST have valid travel document or Visa required for the country that you would like to embark/ disembark. Norwegian Cruise Line will not be responsible for any loss associated with itinerary change such as hotel, transportation or entertainment onshore which is not arranged by NCL directly.

And also be aware that even NCL approves it immediately on Day 1 of your cruise, there may be a chance that the ship cannot enter the port of Naples on Day 5 because of various unforseen situations (e.g. bad weather). If you have booked any hotels or air tickets from Naples, NCL will not be responsible for your loss.

I can't get any answer from NCL other than the front line telling me it's not possible.  At this point, I'm just going to ask someone at guest services on the boat at the beginning of the cruise to see what they say.

I can't remember from the last European cruise that we did.  If you start and end in EU countries, do you even have to go through immigration when you get off the boat on the last day?  Doesn't seem like you'd have to since you're already in the EU and you don't have to do it at airports when transiting between countries.

    Our request went to the

    Emergency Travel Team
    AirSeaGFO@rccl.com.
    Maybe NCL has something similar.
  6. My daughter had to do this a few years ago while we were on a RCCL cruise in the Med. We had to submit a Guest Pre-Downline request that had to be approved ahead of time. She was leaving the ship in Istanbul and the Turkish visa had to be secured ahead of time also.Since 2019, Royal Caribbean no longer allows pre-downline requests but I don't know what the other lines are doing.

Was there a few different comics onboard. Live bands and dancing opportunities. Line dancing. Zumba? Most recent cruise was boring post covid19. Prior on Bliss and Gem was like 20,000 steps a day dancing! Lost weight. Most recent in May lack of entertainment and live music and dancing was boring, is it back to normal?

There were two different comics on board. We went to the regular show as well as one adult one. We didn't think they were funny at all. Just bad.

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences.  We are cruising on the Encore sailing Jan 8, 2023

    A few quick questions:

    1.  Can anyone confirm if there are frappuccinos included with the drink package at Starbucks?  Just came off of a cruise with Royal Caribbean where they were included.  🙂

    2.  Does anyone know if there are dessert crepes served (normally we have found this in the buffet when they are available)?

    3.  Did anyone decide on a tour for Tortola and St Thomas?  We are traveling with my father-in-law who has limited mobility walking, so we are going to skip on touring the baths.  With the stop at Great Stirupp Cay, we are trying to hold that day for the beach day.

    4.  Does anyone know if/when they have Lobster night?

    Thanks!

    Jason and family

The only place I saw crepes this time around was in the "pay for it" ice cream place - Coco's?

Husband had lobster on the second night of the cruise.

    Thanks for taking questions.

We are on her in a couple of weeks and are wondering how you communicated with others in your party who may be somewhere else on the ship?  Do the room phones travel with you? Your mobile phone over ship wifi?

Room phones do not travel with you. I think the messaging feature with your phone only works if you have the wifi package. We did not and never could get it to work. Also didn't have a need for it.

  10. I have never seen a check in time that early either. I picked noon for our Prima sailing on the 11th. Just got off the Encore on Nov. 20 and while we checked in at 10:15 a.m. (our time was 12:30 p.m.), we sat and waited. The ship was delayed with disembarkation. Finally got called at 12:50 p.m as a platinum Latitudes. At least the cabin was already ready when we got onboard at 1.

I never received a bidding offer from NCL but have a link that took me to the bidding site. I have 2 bids going from a studio to either an inside or ocean view. Debating if I should wait until 2-3 weeks before the cruise incase the bidding amounts go down.

    Tom🤔

Tom, can you share the link to the bidding site?

I am hearing that they have a water bottle filling station on the ship now but no one seems to know how many and where it is located.   Trying to find out

Never saw one on the Encore. Just off Nov. 20. Saw people taking glasses to refill their water bottles at the buffet.
