I cruised with my son when he was 4 and he had a great time. He loved the kids club and the adventure of the cruise overall.

It is an older hotel, but great staff, clean and in a good location. We were happy with it. It was very busy and seemed full when we were there. There is a Starbucks connected to the lobby and also plenty of restaurants nearby. We ate tacos for dinner one night and breakfast the next morning at an amazing little diner called the Mecca Cafe. I also remember seeing several pizza places, burgers, greek, thai, and cajun restaurants. I'm sure there are tons more. We were able to walk to the space needle and the Chiluly glass exhibit. There is tons to do in that small area of Seattle.

We stayed at the Mediterranean Inn last year, which had a shuttle is very close to the Seattle cruise terminal. Alaska is great and my favorite place to cruise. Definitely dress in layers, as it can get pretty warm on certain days.

We were on the 5/27 sailing and had a great time. The buffet went smoothly every time I was there. I didn't notice any major staffing issues and thought the crew was wonderful. We loved the ship!
