I would like to see the CL removed. They could reuse that space for future cruise reservations or such. Then I would like to see the DL ( since it is bigger) take it's place for Suites, Pinnacle and D+ . Diamond tier should get 1 or 2 drinks, like the old days when the paper coupons were given in books . Reaching Diamond tier is quick and easy and there are now too many of them to be considered a really high and loyal tier. There is no need for RCL to give away soooooooo many drinks when people are more then willing to buy them or buy their alcohol packages.

Maybe for you reaching Diamond status was "quick and easy" but for myself and many of us it took quite a while and finally reaching it...I consider it a "high and loyal tier" and would hate to see RCL now take away the perks that so many of you now Diamond Plus members have enjoyed in the past.

Also not all of us can afford the alcohol packages as you stated.

Congrats on your status but let us newbees enjoy the perks for awhile before you suggest getting rid of them!!

Am loving reading your report and seeing pics of Cinque Terra..we did Florence that day but would definately love to see Cinque Terra on our return next fall. Would love to check out that restaurant!!

I know its on the MDR menu but does anyone know if prime rib is served the first night in the Windjammer? We usually dine in the MDR with MTD the first night, but on our upcoming Oasis cruise the only MTD time we could get was 6:00 which is too early especially since we just watched the Oasis leave today and it was after 5:30. Or could we just show up later (7ish) for MTD with no reservation and be seated?

Sailed on both...found entertainment better on Royal but Princess has the best pizza on the seas!!!

Not on every ship - it varies. At the beginning of the voyage I ask the server - I'm not very shy.

Last year we had some yummy crumb cake at the cafe on the Freedom..does anyone know if its still available? Perticularly on the Oasis.

Going on the Radiance in May. Did you happen to see if they had white chocolate donuts for breakfast?

Not sure about the Radiance but just got off the Brilliance and there was not a donut of anykind to be found anywhere at anytime! I heard they were not offering donuts anymore..not sure if true or not.

The way some people are complaining and trashing JR's you would think they are being forced to eat there! If you don't like it...DON'T GO...and if the 1.00 increase is such a big deal again...DON'T GO!

Thank you sooooo much for all your effort. I can barely keep a small personal journal up to date when I cruise so how you can do this is mind boggling!!

We have the Allure booked for this Sept and am so glad we booked the Oasis for this May last week as well..cause I don't think we could see and do all this class of ship has to offer in just one trip.

why not have a designated area of the ship that would have smoking balconies, like the aft

Aft balconies are prime real estate...some of the BEST balconies..cannot see giving them up to smokers.

Are the cookies/pastries available for free without purchasing a beverage?

I haven't been on that many cruises but so far I would have to say Roatan, Honduras. :D

Just curious.. what's the attraction?....have never been there, but are considering a cruise that has it as one of its ports.
