We were in a full suite on the Regal in November, but we had the new (and VERY comfortable) beds. Might be that suites got them first....don't know.
But one odd thing is that they seemed shorter than the old beds. Seem like that to anyone else?
We were in a Deluxe balcony, and I thought the beds were short too (and I am short!).

It was a real egg. In fact, when I ordered mine, mine still had a bit of a runny yolk.

We were also on this cruise. Despite the Coast Guard inspection, we were not waiting long in the terminal before boarding (we are Platinum). We were on board by 12:45. We had a aft deluxe balcony on the Caribe deck, and it was great. Wilson was our room steward, and he was the best we have ever had. While in Ocho Rios a swarm of bees came onto our balcony (and the neighboring balcony) and a man in full extermination gear had to come and kill them all. There were probably 1000+ bees! Luckily they got it all cleared up before our balcony dinner. Dinners in the dining room were great, and we really appreciated that during Cozumel it was open seating since our excursion ended after our dinner time. We were actually able to sit at our regular table. We used EZ Check for the first time, and it was great. We loved the layout of the Regal (first time on her).

We used it for the first time yesterday, and it was great!

Thanks everyone. We will decide what to do on Sunday as we fly to FLL tomorrow. We will either stay at the hotel at the pool and grab some lunch nearby, or take Uber somewhere for lunch, leaving our luggage at the hotel, or take the luggage to the port and grab lunch nearby. Long flight to figure that out. :)

Anyone know if we can drop off luggage while they are inspecting and come back to board later in the day?

Happened to us in San Pedro a few years back. Luckily, our status with the hotel allowed us to have a late checkout. Hours later, we decided to wait in the lobby with friends. The shuttle driver came in and said they had just started boarding and he was working way over his time because of the delay and needed to get home so if we wanted a ride, we had to go. They were delayed longer than planned.
It was a zoo. We are elite and we're in a suite and people were backed up outside. No place to sit.
90 percent were elite on the cruise do just about everyone was priority but it didn't mean anything.
I would wait as long as you can. Much more comfortable. Go have a nice lunch somewhere and don't be in a hurry to get there.
Thanks. We were so looking forward to boarding early and hanging out by the pool, eating some lunch... Now we have to rethink our plans!

Thanks! I have a feeling it is going to be hectic that day at the port.

We set sail on the Regal this Sunday and I got an email that boarding will be delayed due to the CG inspection. It has staggered boarding based on decks starting at 1:30. It does not mention anything about Platinum or Elite priority boarding. Does anyone have experience with this? As Platinum members, will we be able to board earlier than our assigned deck boarding time? Thanks!

Keep in mind that was for our Western Caribbean and it may be different for the alternative itinerary.

That is what I am on, in two weeks. :)

Thank you!

What nights were the formals? Thanks!

We thought of that (something we did last time), but hubby doesn't want to this time. :)

Get on the Sun Trolly it real cheap, $1 p.p. or $3 all day hop on hop off.
This is perfect, my daughter loves trolleys! Now I have to find out if they will be running on Easter Sunday. Thank you!

We are doing a shore excursion that gets us to the airport at 1pm for a 6:30pm flight. Is there somewhere nearby we can take Uber to waste some time?
-
Thanks, I will look into that. Are their car rental places near the port?

We are in Juneau from 12:30 until 10pm this summer. We have been to Alaska 3 times before, and we have done whale watching, Mendenhall glacier, glacier hike, and the tram. I was looking at booking Evergreen Taxi for a private tour for about 3-4 hours, but I am not sure what to see this time around (going with my mom who is 68, my husband, and our 6 year old daughter). A stop at the glacier is planned, but I would also like to see more nature/wildlife. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Got a phone call, the onboard credit was indeed for the lack of ***** for our cruise this March!
-
I just went to my Cruise Personalizer and I saw that my husband and I have $100 OBC for each of us. We booked this cruise back in July, and I truly don't remember if I had OBC on this cruise or not. Would the OBC credit be listed in the original email they send with the Booking Confirmation PDF form? Thanks!
-
What number did people call to get this OBC?
-
There was a disruptive 2-year old in the Crown Grille the night we went, which was not a pleasant experience for the other diners.

And not pleasant for the parents either.
-
I got the email too... What did you say when you called? Did you just say that you were upset that there was no ***** on your upcoming cruise and would like some OBC for the inconvenience?

Worst day at sea is better than the best day on land.....:D:D:D
Bob
Of course... but not always great for people prone to seasickness. :)
-
Ew, that doesn't look pleasant!

I remember walking by a cabin and seeing a mattress from the top bunk down on the ground for the kid to sleep. There isn't much room, but the family made it work. :)
