From Princess cay, with a sea day. I imagine there should be plenty of time and the ship should arrive way earlier than 10AM.

I was told 11AM by a car rental agency. Does it take that long? I don't have any status though. It's Enchanted Princess.

It's not really 3 times if you count the 6 euro port mobility bus to train station. Of course if you walk without luggage, that's 3 times.

Either snorkeling from beach or boat tours. I did research each port of call but I want to compare them. I suspect the best in Antigua or St Maarten may not be as good as a mediocre one in St John.

Can anyone compare St John's beach to the ones in ST you just mentioned? Wonder if it's worth the trip. We don't need sandy beach or chairs.

Just curious, how many passengers can these 2 ferries carry in total (one way)? I guess a few hundred?

I searched this forum but could not find anyone mention this. Did anyone try this before? No need to buy tickets at train station and potentially avoid the train strike issue. . The downside is it doesn't leave until 9:30AM (Ship arrives at 7) and bus takes longer than train. Every minute in Rome counts!

And where is the best snorkeling? Looks like 3 small beaches. Wonder if 2 hours DIY (7:45/11:30 Speedy ferry) would be enough. I looked at Princess's excursion schedule and it's 7:30AM - 11:30AM. If we choose Sensation, we would have 4 hours. Enough to see other parts of Virgin Gorda by taxi? What's a reasonable price for driving around?
