She should find out what her vifp # is if she doesn’t already know it. Write it down somewhere so you know where it is when you book a cruise. When you book give them the vifp# first and they can pull all your info up for the booking. That way you will always get credit for your cruises. After you give them the vifp info and they pull up the information then you can tell them the new changes to your name and they can input it in the system. I had an issue before with having two different vifp #’s because my last name has two words in it. Some of my cruises they booked it with both last names combined as one word. I called and had them combined and put on one vifp#. My kids and my wife are listed as travel companions so as soon As I give them my number their info also comes up so they can add them to the booking without having to give them the info over the phone.

Who gave you that bad information. Free at sea is just the name of the promotions. If you choose the drink package it is good as soon as you step on the ship until the bars close the night before u leave the ship. Doesn’t matter if you are at sea or in a port you can get drinks for free on your drink package. When you board the ship and are still in us waters you will pay local tax on the drinks you order. So if you order a $10 drink on the ship while you are still in Miami or us waters u will pay Miami sales tax. If the Miami sales tax is 6% you will get a bill for .60 cents

They will let you know on the ship. I have been on 15 cruises and they have only changed the ship time once to account for the time change and that was in Alaska. So there is a possibility on your cruise they will. My cruise was on NCL out of Vancouver. The night before we got to Ketchikan the official ship time was changed. There was paperwork in the cabin about it to let everyone know.

exactly! how many employees in these ports would be out of work? how much lost revenue would occur in each city that houses the US ports? how much would each state and each city in which these ports reside lose in tax income from the cruise line? not to mention how much money would citizens of the US and the world lose because their cruise has been cancelled? because of all these underlying factors this is exactly what it is a threat that will never happen. you want to punish the corporation then punish the corporation with heavy fines, but don't punish people who have nothing to do with it.

You don’t get priority tender tickets. When you check in on the first day to pick your cabana you will be given a excursion certificate and paperwork that tells you what time to meet on the day you are at HMC. On that day you meet at the designated venue usually the theater at the specified time. This is where everyone meets that have excursions or priority tender. They will call you by excursions and as a group you board the first tender to the island. You show your excursion certificate as you get on the tender. The people in your group just follow with you. They will not worry about counting how many people are with you. They will just guide you on the tender.

Oh I know that. Luckily they are not big soda drinkers. They have been on over 10 cruises but only the 1 on NCL. I usually put like $70 each on their S&S card for the week and they can get whatever they want. But once it’s gone it’s gone😀

Great. Thanks. The last time I took them on an NCL cruise it was an older ship and didn’t have local or sheenhans. The 24 hour food option was in the sports bar.

my Kids love hot wings. I was wondering if my 13yr old son and 10yr old daughter can go to the local restaurant by themselves and order hot wings and soda since it is a complimentary restaurant. Or does an adult have to be with them to order.

we usually get cheers and my wife likes to drink wine especially red wine. wine by the glass at the bars is pretty much the same you might have only 2 red wine selections. the dinning room has a better wine list and should offer more choices by the glass. my wife often goes to the steak house and gets wine at the bar and takes it back to whatever bar i'm at. the steak house house the best wine list and the most wine by the glass selections. most people don't know about the bar at the steak house or don't think you can go to it unless you are dining at the steak house.

for some reason they have stopped putting the different type of liquor and the corresponding prices on the menus. i guess that way they can raise prices without changing the menus. they did this a couple of years ago. they have most of the typical liquors what are you looking for.

From your pictures it looks like they brought the price of grey goose back down to $14.95 so it will be covered under the plan. That’s good. People were posting before that grey goose was now an insane $21 a drink

that seems high. i have had 4 up sell calls. from an inside to a balcony has always been $250 total. once on the glory i had a choice $250 to go from inside to balcony or $300 to go to aft wrap around balcony. i of course jumped all over the aft wrap around balcony. that was the best cabin i have ever had.

You just made this up, Carnival did not pay their bill, seriously? The Masters was on CBS in April on the conquest. The sports bars can play anything they want. They removed the networks from the staterooms, as satellite commercial services pay per capacity.
Carnival no longer carries network channels. like many of the other cruise lines they have all dropped network channels and numerous other channels to save money. the reason you were able to watch the masters in april was because the ships have espn deportes and espn deportes has the rights to show the masters along with lots of other sporting events i will post below. they also have the rights to NFL but only monday night football, superbowl, pro bowl, and 1 wild card game.

This is just not true. The network stations were definitely on in the Conquest sports bar. They had at least 3 different network venues playing at the same time. The Masters is exclusively on CBS and they have no connection to ESPN.
Everything I said was true. Network channels are gone even in the sports bar. Espn international has full masters coverage in 53 countries. Don’t believe me here you go. Since you base everything off of you watching the masters in the sports bar here is the full broadcast rights to the masters. Pay attention to the last paragraph you might learn something![emoji23]

The Sports Bar has network TV, Carnival chooses not to share it with their guests. We watched the Masters a few weeks ago. They were also showing NCAA B-Ball games
I spent a lot of time in the sports bar on my last cruise on 3/25/18. I asked the bartender about the network stations. He said the network stations are gone even in the sports bar. But they have international espn. Because it is international and not domestic espn they will air a lot of sports that would be on network channels in the states on the international espn. This was on the pride. I have been on the pride 7 times and the bartender has been there the last 5 times I cruise on the pride. He recognizes me the first time I go into the bar every cruise and we usually have very honest conversation about the ship during the cruise so I believe what he says. Actually on the pride the server that controls the sports bar has been down for months and he has been waiting for carnival to approve the repair and fix it. So what this means is that the tv’s behind the bar are stuck on a specific channel and he can’t control them. He can’t even turn them off all he can do is turn the volume up or down. One side of the bar the channels are stuck on espn international. And the other side they are stuck on espn 2 also international. During the week I was on we were able to watch on these 2 channels women’s final 4. NCAA elite 8 and final 4(final 4 also played outside). Golf and mlb opening day games. All these games were on network tv in the states but because they had international espn it was available to watch.

i think it is for the platinum/diamond person and up to 5 guests. can't remember the exact number but it will be on your paperwork they put in your room the night before the tender port.

Pride also has heavy seas loose canon. Local Baltimore craft beer. At the bars they have miller lite and red frog on draft. And the alchemy bar has no beer or wine. Strictly martinis. Also they do not have any tonic water or any kind of mixers like that at the alchemy bar.

Even with a reservation at the go carts it takes around an hour after you check in and go through the line before you actually get into the go cart. Just keep that in mind when you make the reservation. We were on the bliss in Alaska and twice we had reservations and it was closed due to strong winds. Both times they charged my account for both my kids even though it was closed. So also keep an eye on your account if you have a reservation and the track is closed they might charge you as a no show on your reservation even though they closed the track.
