Since they are of legal age and alcohol was mentioned I'll share what we did with our group on Oasis. We printed out a list of all the bars onboard and had a Pub Crawl. The rules were only that you had to have 1 drink at each bar and check it off the list. No prizes or anything just seeing who could do them all in 7 days. Well 6 considering you can't really get a drink the day you disembark. It was so funny seeing the other couples we were cruising with popping into the different bars as we were leaving them lol. I think it was something like 32 bars on Oasis. Might not be for everyone but the challenge was interesting lol

We're on the Oasis in April. There are 32 bars??? I'm in trouble.....

    From their website

Accepted Types of Tests and Results

    • There are two common types of diagnostic COVID-19 tests
      • A molecular test, also called a PCR test or NAAT test – our testing requirements call this a “PCR test”
      • An antigen test, also called a rapid antigen test – our testing requirements call this an “antigen test"
    • The test must be supervised by a health professional, such as a doctor, pharmacy technician, public health worker, or telehealth professional. Telehealth testing at home is only accepted for vaccinated guests, and only when it is conducted under live video supervision. Learn more about acceptable telehealth tests including our home test kit.
    • You must receive a valid results document from your test provider that includes the name of the lab that processed the test, the lab’s CLIA Lab Number or Certification Number, the address of the lab, your name, the date the test was taken, type of test, and your negative result. This can be a printed document, email, or telehealth app notification. Fully handwritten doctor’s notes (such as those written on a prescription pad) will not be accepted. Minimal handwritten components (such as a check mark on a “negative” box) are acceptable as long as the other required information is printed on the document.

    Sorry, missed that.

Was that not a notification of regarding how many DBP's you can have on your cruise account, not how many times you can cancel/rebook

I think you're right and that's probably the case.

I'm curious, where are you seeing this fine print?

Before I canceled the original order and tried to purchase at the 30%, it showed both our names with the notice below. So I cancelled the order first, then went back to purchase and the notification was gone. The new order shows that I can cancel again if I have to.

Like Biker said check the price.  I believe you can purchase it again BEFORE cancelling the other to check that the final price is really lower.

I guess I'm not understanding. When I purchased it at 20% off, it was $66.99 plus 18% gratuities. Now at 30% off, it says $53.99 plus gratuities.

  6. I purchased the DBP for our Oasis cruise next April at 20% off and now see it's on sale for 30% off. If I cancel it and purchase it again at the new price, will I be able to do that again later if it drops some more? There's some fine print saying 'Limited to once per cruise'.

Well, since the FCC is in lieu of the money you paid for your cancelled cruise, you can't keep both.  So, the FCC goes away if you're able to take the refund. It's not that you lose the FCC, it's that it goes back to your account/credit card/original payment method.

Thanks. Getting harder to understand all the 'ifs and or buts' on these things. I think we'll just take the refund and go back to Celebrity.

  8. When our September 2020 cruise on the POA was cancelled, we took the option to rebook for this September along with some FCC that's good until 12/31/2021. Now that this cruise is also cancelled, if we take a full refund, do we lose the FCC, or does that remain in our account to use if we decide to book for next year?
