The daily menu for Atlantide and a coupleof changes on the regular menu. The wines for the night. I had the crab salad and Rojaan had the beef tartare which I have shown before. Then I had a small serving of the leek with fennel cheese instead of a soup. We both had the miso marinated black cod which was very good. Rojaan finished wit the pavlova whilst I had almond,pistachio and marron gelati.

The last of Rhodes as our naval escort takes off.

I now walked back to the ship.

I found a place for lunch . Not too expensive food OK but they were very slow and forgot my order.

The hospital is now a museum as well. And off we go for free time.

Now we leave the Grand Palace that dates from the 1930s. Off down the main road which is being repaired.

A lot of the mosaics were removed from Cos to this building.

And even Mussolini's name is on the plaque.

First we will go to the Grand Palace. Of course it is not original and was built in the 1930s.

Having a great cruise with the wines. The Moon earlier had done a Grand Cruise of South America and they had several reds left over. So after proving to Karolina I knew what I was talking about in regards to South American wines she has brought me a different South American red each night we are in Atlantide. A great experience.

Unfortunately alot of the newbies share another characteristic - A total lack of spatial awareness. Had to give up after 10 laps on deck 11 because it was so hard to continue. Groups standing on the track, walking slowly 3 abreast and no effort to let anyone past and turning sun lounges around so the stuck out across the walking track. Much better in the afternoon so did 22 laps. Only annoyance was one fellow who when overtaking me said outside lane is only for overtaking. Never has been before. Also when overtaking anyone would run. So when he was about to overtake me the third time I said running on decks is prohibited. He got the message. Got a new UK couple and joined a transiting US couple and came third in trivia. Didn't feel confident at golf as 17 attendees and the first 4 travelling together were members of a golf club. 3 out of 4 had a hole in one on the first hole. I was the third last to go. Stumbled and nearly lost my G&T but also only took one shot. Ended up tied for first with one other. A G&T is magic.
