This is very odd we still have not gotten an email yet either and start Fairbanks on Thursday. We fly out of Phila tomorrow am so still have time to do something today . Just not sure what to do

We start our land tour on Thursday beginning in Fairbanks and have not received any notice regarding the need for testing before it. We are leaving Wednesday morning and this adds to the stress. I think that we would have heard by now. Has anyone heard anything for a tour beginning this soon?

Holland will not be testing…… so disappointed. We are starting our land portion on the 2nd in Fairbanks and they will test before embarking on the 5th. But we are on our own in Vancouver. We have scheduled appointments at the airport on the 12th. We were hoping that the testing would have been dropped by now but maybe you will get lucky !

“I have called Holland America Cruise Line for assistance and was advised, any Covid test that are required while on the tour including the test required for the cruise at embarkation will be coordinated by Holland America Cruise Line and would be complimentary.” I have been stressing about the testing as well. Above is the message from our travel advisor. Our land tour begins in Fairbanks and at one point I was told that we needed to be tested before the land portion. Then they put out the statement that they will follow local guides lines and not go above and beyond. We end in Vancouver and we were very disappointed when we were told that we will not be tested before getting off the ship to fly back to the states, we are on our own. I think that Holland’s statements have been very vague and unclear on many things. Just say YES you need to test or NO!

Shipwalker had you gotten an email stating that they weren’t going to test after the cruise? We did. Maybe you are still getting tested since your cruise was so close. This would be great if they reversed it!

We are booked on the Noordam in June doing the land portion in Alaska first. Can anyone confirm if we need to test prior to the land portion. We are getting tested before embarkation and will plan something in Vancouver (since they reneged on their post cruise testing) before flying back to the US. Whenever I call Holland I always feel that they aren’t sure of the answer and it is so frustrating!
